Is anyone elase out there having problems with Impulse or Wincustomize as far as downloading any type of skins or whatever Stardock supplies? I click on the download button and all that happens is the hour glass goes round and round and forever if I didn't stop it, lol. Anyone?
Hi Shirley, I talkes with Dave from Stardock and he told me they didn't mean that, so they are trying to figure this out, I believe Curt has been emailing me with possible fixes, but no luck yet... You have any thoughts

And Stardock emailed me back and apologized, they didn't mean to ay that, and they are trying to fix the problem, but if you are running Xp maybe you can point me in the right direction. I use XP service pk3, I have a 512 mb nvidia GE force 7600 video 8x card. And they say that's good enough but I keep getting this eror message,,,,,,AGP card detected, sorry it is not compatible with Deskscapes at this time".........So let me know if you can help</
I had an open ticket on deskscapes, and Stardock emailed me back and said that Deskscapes WILL NOT work on XP at all. I tried everything myself and no luck so I called them and they told me that, so I gave up, so if you keep trying I thought you should know this, bummer huh?
Have you found any fixes for xp users yet on Deskscapes? I have PNY technologies NVidia 7600 GS 8x 512 mb video card. I still get the same error message ....AGP card detected. Deskscapes 2.5 is not compatible with your video card at this time. Please click no or cancel to read compatibility information. Try applying Dream anyway?............ And that 's as far as I can get, Any help would be appreciated Mika
CP. You have XP and have no prblems? Can I ask what video card you use? I have a 7600 gs agp 8x NVIDIA PNY technologies card and I get the same mesage all the time............AGP card detected, Deskscape 2.5 not compatible with your video card at this time please click cancel......... No matter what I do I can't get any dream to work. M

IT IS SIMPLE AS THIS>.............Deskscapes,,,well SUCKS, lol. I'm sorry I do not like to trash anything but I haven't read one post where someone has said they have it running or they like it. I have bneen trying for weeks even talking directly with Stardocks techs and they even don't have any clue, so it is a lost cause. And it rweally pisses me off they release something we paid for that does not only not work but crashes your computer. Good luck
Don't waste your time!!!!!!!! Deskscapes hardly works on vista let alone XP. Believe me I have tried everything even talking to Stardocks techs over the phone and not to be nasty, but they have no idea..............how to get deskscapes to work with Xp so don't waste your money like I did

Thank you for the post, but I tried that and I even disabled my Antivirus while downloading that 178.24 file and I keep getting the same error message......Agp card detected is not compatible with this Deskscapes but do you want to try anyway? And I do try it and nothing happens, So feel free to give me any advice it will be greatly appreciated. TY

What about the Nvidia agp video card by PNY technologies GeForce 7600 8x video drivers? Where do we find those drivers for the deskscapes to function properly? I get that same message....AGP card detected do not try to apply. Any info would be appreciated.
I know how to apply DX skins and all stardocks suites, but I just downloaded nextstart and I want to download themes dealing with nextstart but I am having trouble applying them. For example I want to download Atmospherica, I extract the file and about 100 icons pop up. So my ? is how do I apply these type of themes? Please reply asap
