I'd rather wait a few extra minutes than play w/ AI. Remove AI from Pantheon completely.

A huge part of the flawed matchmaking is due to the light/dark division in pantheon as discussed here: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/364707
I'd like to add darktony50 to the list. After giving up on trying to get a Pantheon game yesterday morning, I hosted a custom. Took ~10 minutes in the lobby to be ready to go. Explicitly asked if anyone was prone to ragequitting and to leave the game now. Everyone was fine so we started up. Roughly 15 minutes into a very evenly matched game he quits [e digicons]>:([/e] with no warning. We played on for a few minutes but given how prone to feeding the
I spent most of the allotted time I had to game this morning waiting on connections in Pantheon. "Why?" might you ask. The Light/Dark division. Often there was 7 folks on one side, 1 on the other. All waiting and staring at a waiting on players dialog. If I was "lucky" I'd get placed into a game w/ AI. Meanwhile you have *8* real live humans waiting (and waiting and waiting) to play together. It's not a connection problem on my
Oddly enough, try lowering some of your sound settings.
Gotcha. I usually don't think to buy that up once towers come down but I guess it helps the citadel too.
Thanks a lot for the feedback guys! Not sure what etiqutte is regarding advertising our replays so here goes. I just posted a 3v3 Cataract game where forces of light seem to have a significant advantage up to end game where forces of dark permalock our portals and giants smash the citadel. I'd love if anyone could take a look at it and offer some tips (other than "don't let them lock your portals"). http://digitalhallucinations.com/13_Minutes_on_Exile.DGReplay Haven't been able to upload it to Game Replays yet (and don't have DG on this computer to replay it to generate notes) but from watching it last night there are a few nice things to show case: - Very begining of the match, lone Sedna drives off QoT and TB in a 2v1 near the left hand crystal - Shortly there after, potential 2v1 gank of Oak near the right crystal. Rook teles in and helps k
This is a great idea. It gives QoT a role other than shield spam and fills a missing niche. +1

I wouldn't think twice about doing it nor would it even cross my mind that it was an "undesireable strat". It's just another metagame element to consider when you're playing on Cruciable in my opinion. The exact same options are open to both teams so there's no real imbalance here in my eyes.
I tried several times to upload a replay and keep receiving "Sorry, this replay file seems to be corrupted. This could also be caused by a new patch which changed the replay file format." The replay replays fine for me.

Not really an exploit, just clever use of an ability. It's not just Erebus, btw, any general can do this with the Cloak of Night favor item.

Not to mention it's probably far less work on SD/GPG side to eliminate the division than to add a bunch of new demigods.
I completely agree that the light/dark division needs to go (or be reworked somehow). I base that statement on these two "facts": 1) Matchmaking is far more important than narrative. Let's be honest, no one plays this game for the riviting story. Having a fun, balanced match is far more important to the game's long term success than the eternal battle between good and evil. 2) Light/Dark segregation as it is currently implemented hampers the system's ability
Since getting this game last weekend I think the amount of games I've played where someone has ragequit has to be around 80%+. I know I'm a noob--I just got the game. I join games whenever I can that say "noobs welcome" or as soon as I join a lobby I make sure to tell everyone I'm noob and ask if they mind. I have enough sense to try to avoid getting killed and think that I do decently for how long I've had the game. On top of that, I was just in a game with a teammate
