I do think all strategy games need a way to make the AI turn into a big threat once you start to gain too much of a lead, they should put aside their rivalries and start to ally or even unite completely to counter you like in EUIV coalitions forming when you become too aggressive.
Perhaps have a random event trigger at a certain point where either the Crusading Humans start appearing and attacking you as they deem you to be a threat or some additional ancient race wakes up and starts its quest to cleanse the galaxy and you have to survive for 50 turns, if you do you win.

I agree MP is key to any game. Me personally I would love GC3 to allow me to play with 3 friends on one game as we do in Civ V. Sure the turn times can sometimes be quite long but that's our choice and we love it so please don't take that choice away from us. If you want MP x2 x3 x4 x 5 ect go for it. Hi guys, So massive Gal Civ fan ever since the original and obviously purchased the Founder Elite at the earliest chance I got, but reading around the forums they seem a little quiet so I was wondering if there is somewhere else I should be hanging out and catching up on the latest news? Okay so been playing around, seems I can play the game fine with my serial IF I do not update it from this site. But when I download the latest update it will not activate! Any ideas because stardock sales tell me its not their problem and Im getting very very annoyed at them.
Hi, I bought Galciv2 from a well known software outlet and played the game on my previous computer no problem downloading updates from this site. Now I recently got a new PC so I unistalled Galciv2 from there and installed in on the new PC. Upon reaching the serial activation step I was told that it was invalid and referred to stardock whom I have contacted. They tell me they do not have my email address registered and that the CD key in the case should work and if not I should
