ok, i have tested this a few days now and it's obvious. It only happens, if WindowFX is running. If i switch WindowFX off, everything works fine. So i guess the WindowFX developers should have a look at this.

Hello, i think (! meaning i am not sure), that on installation of the whole object desktop thing i was once asked, if i prefere optimisation for speed (if i remember correctly it was with some funny hint like 'i have payed for that ram so i want to use it') or optimisation for ram usage. i selected for speed, but since my whole system is eating up 350 megs of ram after boot up, i have changed my mind. the problem is: i don't find the point any more, where i could specify this<b

Since the "enable MCP notification area support" change from you other post, this problem does not exist anymore, but i still need to add putty.exe to the 'locked' list, otherwise it disappears limiting it to a single desktop is no problem to me, but maybe the developers should have a look at this. thanks for your help *update* it still seems to happen, but only occasionally. and if it happens, it happens until i do switch the locked desktop number to some oth

Hello, i need to use Putty a lot ( http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/ ), but there is a weired problem with virtual desktops if i just run it, putty just disappears as soon as i switch to any desktop. if i add putty to the 'locked' list and lock it to desktop 2, if i switch to desktop 1 and back to desktop 2, i can't see the first putty (only the first startet), if i switch to any desktop > 2 and back to 2, i see all. is it a bug or a feature, and will

Hello, i am using ObjectBar as a Startbar replacement, so i have hidden windows startbar, has configured objectbar to my needs, but no matter what i do, the system tray ist not showing up. first of all, beeing no native english, i have to clear if i am on the right track. what i want is having a list of currently running drivers and tools that show not up as applications in task manager, i guess that should be the system tray? so i went into configuration and added the
