I get my icons onto the desktop by right clicking on the desktop, going to desktop X and selectng Desktop X welcome and select the load object, on the new window that appears, click on browse and select the folder icon at the top then in the left pane I click on desktop and just simply drag n drop the icons that I want onto the desktop, but some of the icons dont appear when I do do that like the internet explorer icon and a folder icon. Icon problem in Icons WinCustomize Forums

Firstly how do you get icons on the desktop, I know how but I dont think I've done it right. Secondly, when I put the icons onto the desktop, they dont appear on there for e.g. folders and also the internet explorer icon. Also, ive got the simple vista DX desktop, when you click on the programmes tab at the top, how do you get programmes in there, and the same question for the other tabs if possible. Thanx

task bar help in Beginners WinCustomize Forums

I've downloaded the simple vista DX desktop (think thats the right one), and have set is as my desktop but the task bar doesn't show, last night when I was trying to get icons on my desktop I clicked on the internet and the vista DX task bar showed, but know, I have managed to get the icons on the desktop but when I load anything the task bar isn't displayed so I have to keep hitting Alt and Tab everytime I want to go to another programme, any help!!!
