Reply to Game keep freezing after 5-8 min game play in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Got quite the same problem, but the game dosn't freeze it insteads just crash after 3-5 turns, esp during research upgrades. Tried solving it by the pinned solutions and activated hardware cursor, changed resolutions but didn't have much luck with that System spec is GF 6600GT 256mb, 1gb ram, amd64 3700+ with windows xp sp2. Any sugguestions on a fix? Oh and btw I just reformated
