Question about adding new ship roles in GalCiv III Modding GalCiv3 Forums

I am curious about something. GalCiv3 has been out for a few years now. Has anyone had any degree of success modding the ship roles. For example, we currently have interceptor, assault, escort, etc. Has anyone had success adding new roles? Thank you.
