UPDATE: I've had some time to play around with my setup, and I've successfully converted my Actiontec M1000 into a "transparent bridge," meaning that my netgear router is now the only device assigning IPs (am I interpreting this right?) and I have eliminated my double NAT/cascading NAT scenario. As a preamble, let me just say that I realize I am sure that I am one of the many with connection issues in multiplayer. I've hesitated to post about my own issue, but after reading through the forums and Monk's excellent guide and still having NEVER successfully connected to a multiplayer game, I think my time has come. I had the same problem. It kicked me back to Impulse and I didn't see any attempt at it making an update...
