alienware m14x here with this problem. running the exe directly rather than via steam works for me ( a bit glitchy on startup but it gets there eventually) . no external monitors, as far as I am aware both chipsets are enabled, and I haven't tried disableing integrated graphics on the bios.

i figure they are just using bots in the beta so more folks can actualy try it and give feedback i mean right now the stats dont matter anyway. and with more games played, bots or no, more folks can test them. i kinda soubt theyd considder letting people single player their way to the top of the charts.
here are some questions i might ask if i hadnt played the beta. 1. is demigod geared more toward fast paced twitch combat, or more lengthy methodical battles. 2. will the single player campain be story driven or more along the lines of a tournament or skirmish mode. 3. how many demigods are there? what other unit types are there? 4. what sort of multiplayer ranking system will there be? 5. how do generals aquire their units, and how are they controlled?
i can think of a few, tho do you mean questions from the perspective of someone who hasnt played the beta? appologies in advance if these are old or beaten to death 1. are you still planning to add new demigods to the game after release? 2. what average game time are you aiming for? 3. what is the persistent tournament mode going to be like? what elements will be persistent? 4. will favor items be aquired the same way in the release as they are no
i realise something like this isnt likely to be implemented this late in development, even if the developers did like the idea, but here goes anyway =) i think demigod specific items could be used to help balance some of the overpowered abilities by keeping them relativly overpowered but limited by gold and inventory space. regulus for instance can concievably do well in a game without ever being within visual range of an enemy demigod. so why not have him pay
doomsaying seems a bit overdramatic this early. look in any gaming forum for a while and you will see the same though.I find it especialy amusing in the world of warcraft forums. I fully expect wow to be taken over by evolved roaches when our stay on the planet has ended. I imagine a lot of you, like myself, preordered at least partly because you liked the developers previous games. you might considder having a bit of patience. or you could write petitions, threaten
would they release it so soon after the last update? here's hopeing for all 8 demigods i miss the missing 2
i think all the demigods should be equally playable. im fine with a paper rock scisors situation. but having one or two demigods take more skill to counter than the others seems kind lame to me. sure its a skill game but lets not make it an 'only the leet need apply' game. on a side note how about a game mode where a buffed up rook IS the citadell fun ensues =).
