Using Win 7 (7000). If the task bar is mounted at the side (left for me) then icons still appear under it and are therefore hidden from view. Just downloaded a file and it appeared under the taskbar. I only found out by pressing F5 and saw it fly under there. Also, on a similar note, I can't place free standing icons down the right edge or bottom edge, then slide further from the edge.

Do any of you have Wacom tablet? Certainly CursorFX (and CursorXP) is not compatible with the tabtip.exe that makes up part of the Wacom tablet driver. It results in the CPU staying at 60%+ utilisation. I can't use CursorFX for this reason, which is a shame. (Vista 32).
Thanks for the replies guys. I just re-installed WB so I could get some screen shots to post of the problems. Happily, at least for the moment, all seems to be working! I've done a few restarts and used the unit in both graphics modes without incident. I'll repost with more details to this thread if the problem recurs. Thanks again. David
Hi. I've got one of the new Sony Z notebooks (specifically the VGN-Z11VN). These notebooks have a hybrid graphics system. They have a switch that changes between the integrated Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD(part of the GM45 express chipset) and a NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS. This change happens on the fly. When I use WB it initially works, but when I reset the computer (no matter which graphics mode I boot up in) the backgrounds of the windows and start menu are all complet
When you turn on cursor mirroring (say you're left handed) it also mirrors the diagonal drag cursors which messes up the fact they should align with the direction of pull. Maybe not mirroring those cursor styles would be better. Alternatively, being able to choose which to mirror would work, but would require an interface re-design. Anyone know a way to fudge this in the short term. What do I need to edit a cursor theme mirroring? David.
Correction: Problem 2 (missing icons) has resolved with a library update. Thumbnails still don't show spontaneously though.
When trying to view the wincustomize libraries in Stardock Central there are 2 problems. 1. Thumbnails only display sporadically under vista, If you click on one it appears. Scrolling up and down forces them to be drawn. I'm using the NVidia unified drivers 100.65. 2. Some of the mini-icons are missing. See below:
Hi. I use this gadget (Silica to do list gadget) on 2 XP machines. It never seems to remember its screen posion on a reboot. I've looked in the preferences.xml file and although there is a reference labelled 6 and 4 , this does not seem to be screen position. I've tried changing the values and it has no effect when the gadget it re-loaded. Thoughts?
With WindowsFX 3 installed, if in the desktop icons section, if 'Enable advanced desktop features' is checked, a desktop dragging problem occurs. If with the above setting you try to right click drag on the desktop, a ghost is not produced. If the icon is in the top left hand corner of the desktop it does work though. Either way the drag still activates the move/copy menu, but no ghost image is taken along with 'advanced features' enabled. Only a problem if you use 'plain' icons, not IconX or si
Hi. I've been using WB on my desktop for a number of years without problem. I've recently started to use XP's Remote Desktop to connect to my desktop from my notebook computer. This generally works fine, but it seems to cause problems with windowblinds. After the session is terminated the windowblind skin currently applied becomes very corrupted with pink chunks in the middle of most of the buttons and other skinnable itemms. To fix the problem you
