[quote who="Melric" reply="11" id="2284760"] I'm confused, voice communication makes you better at all that. I time my stuns with my partner. He grasps, after that comes off I stun, after that comes off he grasps again. I chase when I know that my partner is going to support me and the same with tower pushing. Hell, we even choose complimentery favor items. A premade will always be better than the sum of their parts - which I guess is the point.&

[quote who="WickedBear" reply="13" id="2283888"]Lol I don't feel like a cheat at all. My point is simply this, most "PuG"'s if we want to call them that, are capable of the same communication. Yes the odd's MAY be against them co-operating, but that is marginal. It is all in how you talk to people. I have one friend I play with, who goes OUT OF HIS WAY to communicate to people not on our vent server. I tell him its futile, and you can't teach an idiot whos unwilling to learn anything, and he

I'm not crying about anything. My intent was to stop people crying about stats. If anything, you prove my point: you have a 95% win record because you play with friends all of the time. Nothing wrong with playing with friends, but there is a causal relationship. *shrugs*

No, this is not a rant against the game. And no, I don't consider myself an expert player who's been tragically thwarted by the official stats. I'm an average player and freely admit it. Rather, I'm amused by so many people quoting the official stats as if they have any significance. I've even noticed people judging posters by their win/loss record, as if that record carries some great weight. A

Hey, I wasn't crying that something needs to be fixed. Players are what they are; nothing can be done about that. Just some healthy venting...:) Surely everyone's who's played DG has had games where they want to punch their screen, and that was one of those for me. I guess if someone said they had to go go afk for 5 minutes, that's probably ok.

Sorry, this made me laugh (or cry?). Was in a 3v3 this morning. First ally drops, so we have an AI. No big deal, we're still doing ok. Then second ally shouts to everyone "Sorry, I have to go afk" and parks at the health crystal for the rest of the game. Of course, no contest from this point on. I realize anyone who reads the forums probably doesn't need this advice, but 1. If you're going to go afk for more than 1 minute, why wouldn't

I've played Eskendale a few times and he uses this build quite well. Everyone on our team assumed he was doing the (old) HoL + shield move, but, as you can see, he was doing something far more creative and helpful to his allies. So credit it to him for thinking outside the box and using (to my knowledge) an infrequently used favor item effectively.

"We have several useless artifacts already, and a lot of useless regular items already. Why are they making more items that are obviously bad gold choices?" By nerfing an overpowered item that almost everyone *had* to take, they indirectly made other items more attractive. The mere existence of the old HoL helped make other items relatively useless. The average girls around you look better when Miss Universe moves out of the neighborhood. They

I love the game, but I do think the 30 second blackout after dying has something to do with the rage quitting. Just basic psychology: being killed or worse, being pwned, is bad enough, and will cause a short surge of despair or rage in all but the best of folks. It's tempting to immediately curse your opponent, your teammates, etc. If you can keep still for 15 seconds, all is probably ok and you will cool off. The more rational parts of your brain will kick in ("Well

Agreed, both percentages are useful. Which one is the more useful way of considering the situation depends on what you're evaluating. Suppose you're deciding between two actions that will give you health: (1) running back to the item shop to buy a piece of health armor or (2) running across screen to capture a health flag that your opponent has. Suppose further that both actions grant you the same amount of absolute

I agree with Eurandos here. Pure ice is tough for the first ten levels, because your damage output is low, your control abilities haven't peaked (level 1 frost nova doesn't do much to other demigods), and you are still squishy. *If* you are in a well coordinated team (preferably with voice chat and premade teams), icebearer can be better than firebearer in mid to late game because the potential combinations of an icebearer with a synchronized ally
