I recommend some sort of creepwave benefits, or some sort of passive army/fortification buffs to make them a valuable asset in defense if not offense as well. I haven't thought this through fully with advantages and disadvantages yet, but consider it, criticize it, etc. you know the drill.
I like the idea of creepwave benefits. A general's leadership/group related skills could extend to creeps, so although the general couldn't contr

Use warpstone if you don't want to walk into battle. I've never played a game where there was more than a single Regulus on a team. Pantheon games are populated with AI anyways.
It's what he wants the changelog for 3C to look like.
I played my very first Internet MP game in 1999 : it was Heroes of Might and Magic III. On "Kali", there never were problems related to hosting or joining a game, and we rarely crashed. TEN years later : I cannot even join one single Demigod game. Maybe Impulse will feature overlay friend features at some point like Steam/GFW
I think he is saying instead of overlaying damage to a target as it happens, you tack on the bonus item damage onto the original damage. So instead of having 150pt damage for a melee hit plus 50pt damage for some item, it would be displayed as 150+50 so that you could tell how much damage your items were doing.
Holy crap is he powerful. Even against A.I., this character is the most consistently successful Demigod in the game. He needs a slight nerf. From previous posts I am compelled to reiterate: keep his Mines from becoming active for as long as entities are in the viscinity, or add a 5 second delay to them becoming active. Regulus in the current build utilizes his Mines offensively, like mortar shells. He already has a crossbow and associated abi
I haven't had this happen to me yet, I'm running Win7 as well.
I did not know there was attack move, wow! I agree with the op, a hold position command would be nice. Not being able to use TP scrolls on the minimap is annoying as well, same with not being able to actually move your view using the minimap, nor ping people using the minimap. My roommates all play DOTA, and one of them also mentioned the lack of cut-off shortcuts on the map. Granted, both neutral creatures and map layout will depend on the actual map, and we know this isnt the only m
Don't minions already give XP to whoever kills them? Since its inspired by DOTA, I would expect leaving your summons behind to die a bad idea since the other team would get free xp and gold.
Managed to fix it. I had both my mouse and keyboard plugged into my 2001FPW monitor. Plugging them directly into my computer resolved the issue. Managed to BSOD windows while hot plugging, bug in the usb driver!
I am not dual booting. I will try FA at some point and see how it goes. I tried closing down any non-critical processes and it didn't help. Will try some other troubleshooting. And the game and system don't freeze, the fire is still animated and I get sound.
This is a fairly strange bug. I just built a new PC. Phenom II 940, Asus M3A78-T motherboard, 4GB of ram, and an ATI Radeon 4850. I am running the Windows7 beta. Now, I tried playing Demigod with just the IGP on the motherboard, and it worked fine. Then I installed the 4850 and tried running Demigod. My mouse is responsive during the intro screen, but as soon as I hit the main menu my mouse jumps around when I move it, and then I loss all input and the power to my usb input devices goes out (
