Diplomacy Bug: Went from 60% to 0% without failing a mission in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

I was playing Sins tonight, trying to become friends with the Vasari west of my Empire. I had just completed a couple of missions for them, taking out the Advent players to the East, and was hoping to draw out them into a cease fire. But then, all of a sudden, I start getting notifications that the Vasari player was dropping our trade treaties. I skip over to the diplomacy screen and see that our relations had reset to 0%, even though not a minute before I had completed a mission for him

Gaian Crescent: Are you *supposed* to start off this badly? in Sins of a Solar Empire Sins Forums

I fired up the Gaian Crescent scenario under the latest version of SoaSE (1.2), and I noticed that my credits were draining out at a rate of 2.2/sec. My home planet has 10 population, *no* infrastructure, and only a 25% allegiance rate. Now, is that how it's supposed to be? Or is something messed up on my installation of the game?

OK, so the original post has two different issues here. The second one, that people shouldn't just crap on people's work, is valid. Constructive criticism is good, destructive is bad, etc, etc. But I don't see how Apple customers complaining about having to pay $20 for a software upgrade fits into that mold. The difference is that Apple had to do [I]no[/I] work to get these apps for the iPod touch, because they were already in the iPhone which is the same device but with a cell radio.<b

Also: I'm getting an error on some dreams that "The dream may contain an invalid video type or a compatible MPEG-2 Video Decoder may not be present." I'm also running Vista Business, but I've got Quicktime & iTunes installed, so shouldn't I be able to play MPEG-2 files? Where I do download this codec? I'm trying to use the Sharkpit dream.

I'm running Vista Business on my new Tablet PC (Fujitsu T4215). It is awesome, and it's only going to get better as support for the OS grows. I'm not really thrilled about the new open/save as dialogs, but other than that, I have very few complaints.

This is awesome. I love the fact that the thumbnails for the taskbar are "live." As I scroll up and down a webpage, the little firefox icon's thumbnail image scrolls up and down too! That's really neat.

Why are old ships showing up in new games? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I've noticed that some times custom ship designs from previous games are showing up in new games. So, custom ships that my little brother designs are in the tech tree just like the core ship designs. Is there a way to turn that feature off? It drives me crazy. I like to design lots of custom ships for given situations, and the shipyard window is getting cluttered pretty quickly. Thanks!
