regardless, his complaint is valid, the other stardock games don't make you redownload the whole game on a patch, I would guess that somethign funky is going on and support can straighten the issue out. Edit: heh, Frogboy beat me to the punch.

I agree with this. As it is, I'm worried about the need to build multiple cities to get a variety of your buildings made; I'd prefer to have city growth to be hard but continual so that you could have a city that can do anything. Another thing I'm worried about is the tactical advantage that you can gain via a small combination of mountains (and the mountain creation spells) or other landform and a city so that you can create barricades so people can't cross into your safe la

I'm kind of mixed on the Pirate issue. I personally think that with the inclusion of being able to offer the pirates missions it should be possible to have the pirates a force to be reckoned with, why else would you send them on missions? At the same time, the random pirates are difinitely too powerful, requiring a full army to be able to have a hope of repeling them.
