WinCustomize Forumsi have WB 5.0, windows XP, vertical taskbar. Keep on top doesn't help on anything I've tried... which have mostly been internet explorer 7, firefox 2, office 2007.

yes, i have seen this issue, it seems to assume the taskbar is at the default position, at the default size... if i make it 2U high or stick it elsewhere on the screen, it maximises under the taskbar and doesn't intrude on where the taskbar should be, even if it's not there anymore. I can't give any explanation or advice, just saying I've seen it too.

If your problem is that your windowsblinds skin won't work on firefox, i can't help you. If your problem is that your firefox theme has been broken since installing windowsblinds, add Firefox to windowsblinds' exceptions list and it won't try to skin it. This is on WB's website as a solution to firefox taking way more memory than before using windowsblinds, so there might also be a performance increase.

"How does one get the glass effect under Vista Home Basic while using WB 5.5?" You can't just magically turn on aero's glass windows in windowsblinds. If you have vista home basic or your GPU has no WDDM drivers, you can't get it. "Home Basic has a very basic Aero. It is Aero without glass, taskbar previews, animations and flip 3D."
