Reply to Can you actually play the Express version online? in The Political Machine 2004 Stardock Forums

Nope, both of us have 1.50.010. I have the normal version of the game installed, would that be the possible culprit? I assumed that since they were installed to different directories, that it wouldnt matter.

I recently purchased TPM08 and liked it, so I figured that I would tell my friend about the free express version. After we both downloaded it, we went into the game lobby to try to start a multiplayer game. No matter what we do (different settings, password/no password, etc) we cannot seem to join each others game. Every time, one of us his "Join Game" and nothing happens. Is there something that we are missing here?
