HP suggested I create a new admin too, said it would prolly work, but I'm too scared to do it for fearing of losing some of my stuff and settings, do the things carry over well? I did try it though, and it just keeps freezing on me everytime I finally click Delete Account.
taskmanager shows up. or do you mean during the logon? im not trying to get rid of the password feature, I just want it to look like the default logon screen.
I tried both those things, and it didn't work, still shows the old school logon screen.
I'm running on Windows XP Media Center Edition, and I recently downloaded LogonStudio. When XP boots, thats the only time the logon skin shows. How do I get it to be the same screen that comes up when I come back from leaving the computer idle? Welcome Screen and Fast User switching are both enabled, but when I come back, it gives me a really old looking logon screen, that doesn't even have my computer name on it, it still says "test" from when HP fixed me computer. Any thoughts?
