just wondering if you meant object dock instead of object desktop (not sure what that is) as it's available to me and i've only object dock. ***edit*** n/m it's v2.5 not the beta, impulse is saying there's an update but that i don't have reg keys (how do insert a screenshot?)

i really do believe this is just a knee jerk reaction to SD's first multiplayer experience, once bitten twice shy and all that. the limit already exists is true, but for those who may be willing to suffer lag to play with friends SD is effectively saying too bad. the limit exists and is self enforcing, providing people have the correct info (i.e. everyone's upload speed, ping, etc) i understand not wanting to go though all the name calling over connectivity again but t

so i've calmed down and reflected since i first posted. i think i was just in shock when i read frogboy say "we plan to be total bastards" [e digicons]:'([/e] ... say it ain't so [e digicons]:pout:[/e] having gone through demigod beta and release i can fully appriciate his frustration with connectivity issues. though i don't see the need for a hard coded limit if there's a plan to show peoples upload speeds, why not let people decide if they want to play

sorry, i should've said. knockback already exists and a few DG's have it(though can't think of an example skill now...mines?) the only thing i can see it does is send minions flying, but they are already dead at that point so it seems a little useless. (?) piznit - as i understand it, this isn't applied to DG's. Ed - stuns are called stuns. nice answers all the same.
