i've seen the same thing, both when chasing and being chased. it appears that when you use the item you current instruction (e.g. chase down and kill [e digicons]}:)[/e] ) is forgotten. i believe this is actually what happens when you use most items/skills/favour (only exception that comes to mind is QoT stance change) it's annoying that this happens but particularly with WoS as timing is everything. i'm in the habit of reclicking as i'm pressing F#, though you still

a guess a nice feature would be if you could keep pressing the auto-gen button till you got a mix you were happy with MrL
i'm with SSAF 106
tbh, i can't believe it's not this way already! the team should def be able to tell which are posionous.
The warpstone is used for a near unstoppable combo that have nothing to do with escaping from battle. That is the concern. No one is worried about how fast you can escape from battle
how about linking it to % health remaining, above that and you can't warp as you're etheral presence is too strong =P
4.2K not the point exactly... it changes a fundemental part of the game (needing to ultimately recharge at the crystal) with very little side effect. ok, so there's a one off out lay, but gold should only determine at what stage an item can come in to the game. once in play, all items should still have balanced uses. someone shoot me if we're only thinking in terms of gold...
in game with a TB (level 13) that can kill in 3 secs, then heart of life, rinse repeat. 2v2 game in crucible. as soon as he's bought the item he's one in effect... maybe a balance like all abilities disabled for 10-30 secs (simulates time saved from returning to healing crystal, but still allows you to capture and not have to return) thoughts?
erg! i've gone though that, saw nothing specific to vendor. it'd be a bit daft if impulse didn't as when it's released i'll effectively be locked out of multiplayer. any ideas if i'll be able to patch manually MrL
oh... that's funny; as i bought the game though impulse and it's still on sale there... you must be needing this: https://forums.sinsofasolarempire.com/339313 so any ideas when we're getting the patch?
[e digicons]:P[/e] fair enough Heartsbane. i'm finding the waiting hard too. maybe change the title to: "release it now or the bunny gets it"
just to throw my weight behind Heavenfall. i work in QA (quality assurance) testing software and reporting bugs. meaning that people are paid to do this thing. which usually means it's not fun stuff. the jokes goes: how many testers does it take to change a light bulb? none. we just say it's dark. StarDock's approach is cool because it allows enthusiasts (sp?) to help out and provide a greater testbed of hardware and softwa

Bril! first thought, re CTF: isn't the standard idea that you aren't allowed to claim (as opposed to the initial capture) unless you're flag is secure. i guess it's just a taste issue, but i'm not sure i like the sound of fighting my way into a base only to be denied picking up the flag cos the one at home just got claimed. can't wait to play test though :) MrL
took Blitz64 advice and tried searching for games you could play. came across this review for the asus N10: http://www.mobilecomputermag.co.uk/20080926939/hands-on-with-the-asus-n10-gaming-netbook.html says he played CoD4 resonably well so i guess the answer is a yes (though with exceptions).
Simply as i found it a really good read i'll add: Agent of Vega by James H. Schmitz , 1960 otherwise i'm a huge fan Iain M Banks, particularly Feersum Enjin if you want a snap shot of his work rather than getting into the culture universe (you'll never escape if you do =P)
i've played aobut 5 or so games. i've got beaten every time but still enjoyed it. you really need to a have a good gaming crew, all who have read the rules before hand. the quickest game we had was 6 hours and that was with using streamlined start up and pre-picked victory point conditions. check boardgamegeeks for more views. and deffinately get shattered suns (?) expansion, makes things a lot smoother. i actually played galciv2 after TE and was kinda

tried the new new drivers - just one game so far but all went well at 16Q. thanks for the tip
AA = antialiasing, it's good at getting rid of jagged pixel edges. Q makes it better, I forgot how.
got it: AA = better suspension, smoother ride Q = a red paint job with go faster stripes =P thanks for the info
it's a 20" LCD (widescreen) so it should all be 16:9 what is AA and also what is Q? cheers
Hi, firstly, BRILLIANT!!! i've played 5 or so games now at different settings and the best and stable performace is everythning on high vertical do-dah on and AA set to 8. with AA set to 16 the game will lock up about 15-20 mins in but start again without rendering properly, e.g. background water is a flowing red and black cheqer box, ground smoke lighter moving squares etc. with AA set to 16Q game cra
