I'll be quite honest, with how they kinda dropped SupCom/FA/Demigod and bastardized SupCom 2, I'm not really feeling I'm going to ever buy anything by Chris Taylor ever again.

You have what mediocre players have said about the game. I'll tell you this, SupCom is only an OK game. That is...until you get good at it. Once you get good at it, the fact that the economy is so flexible gives you CRAZY options. Also, don't trust ANYONE who tells you they don't like SupCom because the games are too long. They have no idea how they play. The complex economy usually causes people to sit in their base playing SimCity because

You should play SupCom Thunder. Just zoom out and you can deal with everything no problem.

It is the same thing when you spell it out. Regardless if it is your 'this', it's still 'this'. Again, I never said anything bad about it, I just said there are other ways of playing him. I've done fantastic with the SoR, I've seen people do fantastic with Blood, I've see people do great with EoM. I've also seen each of these suck. I'm not saying anything against EoM, its how I started playing DA. I'm just saying its not even close to the only way to play. Plus, DA v DA is not a representation of a build being 'better'. It might be 'better' against DA, but that's it. I hate when people beat a mirror Demigod and feel that their build is better because they won. I never take X v X seriously.

I do miss handbooks. I loved having a stack of game manuals in the bathroom. The SupCom one kept me poopin for quite a while.

Hey, we could have our own Pantheon ;) Get one person per DG, play 4v4s and add up the Favor Points each round. Randomize the teams and such, lol.

Honestly, I think DG would of done a lot better with better mod support. If there was a game with mod "ULTRA BALANCE!" and you didn't have it, but when you joined the game it automatically downloaded, then I think a community balance mod would of worked out a lot better. Most people who played Demigod didn't go to the forums, and even if they did, they usually wouldn't try to download the mod, and even if they did, some didn't know how so wouldn't try.

One level to wait for 5% movement speed is a small price to pay for 5 yards of extra swappage. But that's just me.
