Kinda reminds me of when people would drop items and pick em back up for health/mana.
Teseer
That game looks like it'd be fun for like 20 minutes at a time. That's not a bad thing, just doesn't seem like a game that'd hold interest real long. Kinda like TF/TF2. Jump in, play a game, get off. Oh, and fuck consoles.
Jon, you have a fucking gorgeous house!
Ok, in alt tabbing during South Park commercials, my first comment is: In the AA DA build, you GOTTA get Swap 2 at lvl 10. The spell is almost crap until 10 and it's DA's main function. It's also cheap as balls anyway. Edit: More to come, Rah!
Ima have to change that just to pwn some comps a few times tomorrow.
Oh man, I'd be over if I could switch instantly.
So I load up DG this morning before work, and I'm THRILLED a game with people in it is up. The Oak doesnt take shield till late. The Rook...well, the Rook was eh. The Oak seems to think Last Stand is the best move in the game, and uses accordingly End game, 22 deaths on their part, and 2 for me. So fun playing a lvl 20 UB with Ash/Bulwark Ugh.
Yay Jona! You do still exist! :D I'll be on Sun-Mon-Tues in the morning/afternoon in vent :D
I've been screaming to half the range of spit forever!
Rreeppllaayy!
Congrats! You guys deserve it.
Hey man, if you don't wanna get Deep Freeze, don't :) I'm saying I would if I went fire. Chance of that happening? Pfft. lol.
I'd just like to say "Fuck you, UB." That is all.
Man, so much Deep Freeze hate. Don't worry, DF, I still love you.
I hear something like this about every 4 months.
Honestly, you don't even need to buff the +mana. I'd think it was a useful item if you gave it +10 MPS on top of the mana. That's more then Essence of Magic that gives less mana, but it has an activatable effect. It's also more then the Cloak of the Night, but again, activatable effect. Generals don't really have a good mana item so usually (if not going minion) go for BotFag. Would be nice to have the choice of a GOOD mana item over health
Dude, TB/Sed/DA. Lets do it. Pick a dayyyyy! :D (I think the only game we've played, Hedge, was that 5v5)
Oh, on a sidenote: Dude, Thunder, WE NEED TO PLAY DEMIGOD! We've played like 3 games together. But hey, at least you got to see my Failebus, hehe. But hey, I'm gunna be in vent Sunday-Monday-Tuesday, any chance of seein you there then? If so, which days so I can pay more attention :D
The benchmarks are big for a hybrid, but not nearly as big for a Fire TB. DF isn't JUST an interrupt, btw. I understand not wanting to switch in battle as a fire TB, but you still want the buffs DURING the fight. So, start with Fireball, Swap, Deep Freeze who you feel will use an ability and it will either silence a good player (who knows not to cast during its duration) or it will prevent any spells that were cast until 130% of their cast time is up. Also, this can all
It's all situational. I was more thinking of a situation where a port is the only way out. BTW, the Aura stays on for about 5 seconds after you swap forms, so you still have speed for a bit. Snowballs do crazy good damage, hit em 4 times after you interrupt the port and you made up for the damage.
We should see if we can get everyone back for one last tourney. Make voice commentaries on the replays, yada yada. Hell, I'd volunteer to do a few.
If you spam click a move order, you can go from Fire->Ice without stopping. Fantastic for chasing someone you know will port/pot. I do agree though, I'll just chuck this up into the playstyle cat.
I still wouldn't be able to play without at least a point in Deep Freeze. It's just my playstyle, but interrupts are VERY important to me. I mean, you have to switch forms to get the buffs (unless your a newb) so might as well have A spell you can use. Hell, if you know someone is going to port out, you have time to switch and interrupt. But again, that's just me. Maybe that's why I stick with Hybrid.
So I totally wanna play some Demigod. I'll be on Vent Sunday-Monday-Tuesday if anyone is up for a few games.
