Oh snap. I think you got it! I'm always moving a monk with the DG, so if the monk is the 'leader' then it makes perfect sense that the DG is doing an Attack Move. Is there some way when selecting multiple units with cursor drag to have it default to the DG as primary?
Ke5trel
was he playing with Coin Purse? I hear Coin Purse Reg is OP so it might not count ^^
so just to provide a counterpoint to all you gaming hipsters - 1. It's $60. Just like WCIII was... It has nothing to do with Activision, nothing to do with Bobby Kotick, and everything to do with products polished beyond what 99% of the developers out there can offer. 2. LAN is a big deal when you live in a dorm. No one else cares. No seriously, unless you are living Dead Poet's Society this isn't a reason to boycott. 3.
Sorry I didn't see this before, but yep QoT and Occ, as the ranged generals, have exactly the same targeting issues. I will be on tomorrow so I'll try to get a quick replay just to repro.
The QoT has target switching problems, might this be caused by her not having AlwaysRecheckTarget = false. Anyone know how to reproduce the QoT switching targets?

You can reproduce QoT switching target issues b
Ke5trel: does it happen after using an ability? Because this happens with every Demigod sometimes. When you execute an ability, your Demigod ignores any attack order you give him. You have to make a normal move order and then you can order him to attack again.
Spooky - no I'm familiar with the ability freeze bug and the random target issue is something else. It happens when no abilities are in play, and the easiest way to re

Can you replicate it and send me a short replay? Thanks re:Ke5trel on Oculus Autoattack Issue #2 Well, tagging creeps is worth it, just do it proactively. You just need to do 25% damage to each reinforcement prior to its death to get gold for killing it. So just hit each
Re: Ke5trel on Oculus 1. Oculus randomizes target for autoattack Do you have any specific way to replicate this? I've been watching his attack and I haven't seen it.
Good question, I'll try to narrow it down a bit this week. I've seen it most when two creep waves meet and fight, opp DG is in the mix, and Occ fires at every other baddie rather than targeted DG. If you want something which is probably related that can be easily replicated
If you are going with the naming thing then 'The Unnamed' doesn't scan as well as 'The Nameless' imo The tag could be NL
Ptarth, while you are working on Occ, the targeting issue I mentioned at reply # 351 is worse than I thought. 1. Oculus will sometimes auto-attack any available target in range, even if you are explicitly selecting a target in range. So I target Erebus, Oculus attacks the monk next to him. This is repeatable when multiple targets exist and completely negates any range/kiting advantage cow is supposed to have. They should have taken the attack pathing code for R
I'll be watching his replays in the tourney. I won't hold him back any longer (unless he gets wiped in his first round match). Based on the list as it is, that match will be 2 tier 2's vs a 1 and a 2. Anyway, bottom line if renz and mith win that match, I'll put mith to tier 1. I actually think that might be the first match to go 3 rounds, but we'll see (anyone else notice that there hasn't been a single 3 round game in the tourney yet).
Oh! Hey that opens a nice w

ok, so at what point did we stop being players of the same game and become a dysfunctional family? Seriously? These forums aren't an episode of the Maury Povich show, last I checked.... Everyone in the last three pages knows how to play, right? Or did some of us magically forget everything and need a clear page-long description of our flaws? ^^ Solid players make stupid mistakes, it happens, and the next game you play with them won't be better if you call the
Right, and they don't make up for it with higher health, speed, regen, or armor. It's like the devs are saying, "yah, these guys are fun, but you are gonna have to work about 40% harder to win with them."
You know, the more I play Occ the more I think what he brings (monks, blink, a modded purge with a 20 second cd) is underwhelming compared to what TB has (interrupt, stun, auras, BOTS) for essentially the same role and playstyle. Don't get me wrong, he's a plenty fun, but to be really worthwhile I'd like to see something like L2-L3 Brainstorm giving 5 seconds of debuff immunity to target or similar, and either considerably higher native mana regen or less expensive abilities.</p
yah the game we played wasn't too laggy at all Glad you are up and running, though :)
Sure, you can play Reg with any favor, but if you are going up against a good Snipe Reg without Renewal or HW then you are in a world of pain.
Ragarth's my boy [e digicons]|-)[/e] He'll probably show up in a few months with some insanely outdated build, and still push out the win, lol But seriously, I'd like to see what GM thinks on who ranks where with what DG. Is magnus' Occ better than Ninki's? Who has the best UB? Who plays the best Rook?
Infallibility is a pretty sweet gig if you can get it. Do you know what would make the Gentlemen worthy of their name? If each member of the guild made a step-by-step guide to the DG and build that they consider their strongest, complete with replays, and each one was posted with links to the others on these forums. That would actually be interesting reading for the rest of us.
Ninki - so then your comment at #114 should read "If you want a serious game, we'll give you a serious game (but if we lose, it's because we weren't being serious)" just playing [e digicons]^_^[/e]
pacov - condolences, it's never easy On topic: Got a game with TupacMike yesterday. He's from way back, and just got into it again. The game we played he wasn't Tier 2, had some real issues with his Rook build and playstyle, but once he gets the rust off he should be up there so keep your eyes out for him and see what you think. Also in that game: STFNG - this guy is completely solid. His map awareness is great, he plays multiple DGs very well.&

"The demigod community was officially shuttered today after allegations that the game's top players were generating illicit smurf account serial keys and then throwing games to their own smurfs to collect on bets placed with the Korean mafia." I guess there's one nice thing about a game with a playerbase of 50. A few cracked serial keys don't really make Baby Jesus cry. OTOH the only time I see people using alts is when the game crashes and then insists that you are still
The build is a bit out of date at this point. I'll wait til the tournament is over in case there are any Occs out there still using it, and then I'll update with, you know, the build you should have been using ^^
