Just popped in after a few months to say nice, cow For SC2 - Kestrel 581 Y'all feel free to add me :)
Ke5trel
lol Ninki - I'll give it my best shot ;) In narrative mythological terms The American Old West appeals to people because it almost always has some element of the following: -a taciturn, tough, fiercely independent man (or Sharon Stone) who is often nameless and usually a "stranger in town" in opposition to -an institution which is in some way bad and/or - an individual who is objectively evil It's a classic manifestation of Campb
yah I'm on the 360, pacov. I'll add you :)
I hear that the beta for SCII is going to close soon. Does this mean you'll be back Ke5trel?
Maybe :) Playing a lot of Red Dead Redemption right now, but if they release 1.3 any time soon I'll be checking it out..
nice write up, thanks. The late spirits can be really effective, though if you coordinate for last hits maxing DJ can be a good call too.. I used to play Cloak a bunch, but Blood Oak is better, imo... Any replays?
Feylight - I hate to tell you, but RAWRRRR gave you a surface technical analysis already. Sure, he could have been a little less harsh about it, but calling CHEAT in the game's forums is also harsh, especially if it turns out to be a level-of-play issue.. GameReplays and the strategy section of this forum should give you some pointers on how to make things happen differently next time. Good luck out there and remember - DEDD - Decent Erebus Doesn't Die
First, yes, they have the Carrier. Max of 8 interceptors. I have YET to see one though...Maybe they're bad? Iuno, I never have a game long enough with Toss. I either biff what I'm doing or they do and I win early.
It's possible to hit carriers in Copper/Bronze. 8 of those guys + a Mothership are Independence Day. In higher leagues though the game is over before you have more than a couple void rays or maybe colossus up. I like that Ninki's 4th race w
Ke5 were is the HDH videos I cant find ne repalys.
Jona - search youtube for "HD Starcraft 2" and check his channel for HDH, or just youtube "HDH Invitational SC2." Teseer - looking forward to playing with you :) It is funny how strategic zoom affects play. Without it you have to hotkey your queues blind to be competitive, which I'm not sure I will ever be good at.. If you are playing
I did think those in mid-priority can be debated depending on who you talk to. But I think the unanimous decision is 1) Regulus should always get currency (followed by EB/Sedna) and 2) UB & Rook should NEVER get currency.
That works Reading the replies again - I'd also like to see a guide on TP usage Thanks, Kestrel
Some good points in here, thanks.. On Curr priority, one perspective - the DG who survives best without gear buys curr, so my top 5 would go like this: 1. Regulus 2. Sedna/Erebus/QoT/Oak 3. Occulus 4. Kite DA 5. TB Another perspective - the secondary DG in the HP lane should get curr. I.E. If my team is DA/UB/Rook then either UB or Rook is soloing mana and the other one is primary on the HP side.
Like Tes says, I leave to play Starcraft for a week and everything goes crazy, lol In any case, thanks for putting me up there, Ninki. It's gonna be at least a couple of weeks before I dip my toes back into Demigod, gonna see if SC2 hooks me meantime..If you need to take me off the list as a result I'm cool with that but otherwise, happy to clan it up.. Cheers
Ninki come find me in SC2 and we'll have tea over the corpses of the enemy fallen :) pacov - watching the HDH commentary replays helped me a bunch. Just seeing what the pros are capable of and what kind of build timing they have gives you a leg up on most people right now.. It's really interesting to see how quickly things evolve in the meta too.
I'm in SC2 as Kestrel.sable, so anyone add me. Playing 'toss carry mostly, but when you get that proxy pylon rush working it sings
all power to Kal and RAW, they didn't even break a sweat and took us down in a combined 40 minutes or so :) Good luck going forward guys props to Teseer for playing in a pain/vicodin haze, had some sweet locks The second game we were just fooling around, was pretty clear how it would go, but the set was worth playing out, so thanks for the extension, pacov
kk, see you guys for our match tonight at 9 EST Looking forward to it :)
ok well if Teseer and Kal can make Sunday night post it in this space. I'll be checking intermittently this weekend.
Best skills by category: No DA game = Shield III Artifacts Game = Bestial Fury Cheez = Last Stand, Shield III Auto-attack modifier = Angelic Fury Aura = Fire Aura Movement = Swap Stun = Frost Nova Silence = Silence Minions = Spirits My two favorites, regardless of how good they are, are MoTB killing a guy because he ported home under it and swapping a shielded Oak to victory lap his citadel. </
Anyway, if the list is generally accurate, then a team with 2 tier 1s and a tier 2 vs 3 tier 2s should win in most circumstances (say they play the best out of 5, team 1 would win 3 games (but might lose 1)).
If you let me pick all six players by team then I can pretty much guarantee a win against the Tier 1 players 9 times out of 10, based on the current list. That has less to do with the level of Tier 1 and more to do with the hazy line between to
Let's say that Oculus has an ability that claims to grant an attack speed boost. Let's say there is no sign of an attack speed boost in the code. Let's further say that communication with GPG reveals that the ability was intended to grant an attack speed boost, but there wasn't sufficient time to balance test it before release. Now, given all of these hypotheticals, what should be done with this ability?
It should be implemented. Please. If you want to make
Alright, I'm calmed down ;P Can Teseer, RAWRRRR, and KalelSMX do Sunday night at 9 EST or so? @Teseer - norries, man, RL happens and definitely takes precedence. I'm operating under stress right now, have a big certification exam on the 14th which is taking all my free time. Sorry for the over-reaction. @pacov - thanks for the extension, hopefully we can make magic
8:30 EST - Teseer isn't coming. I'm officially forfeiting our match against RAWRRRR and KalelSMX. I know we could probably reschedule, and maybe with a bit more notice I'd be up for that. If you looked at my game history you'd see that I have to squeeze every game into a busy life. I had to take a day off work to get any time to practice with Teseer as it was, and my time online right now is the benefit of having an understanding girlfriend.
8 PM EST - I am on. Kal and RAW are on. I guess Teseer isn't coming. I'll stay on vent for a bit and report back.
Is Friday good for Ke5, Rawr, and Kal? Im getting forced into some BS tonight.
Not really :/ I'm just not around this weekend, so if we can't do it tonight I don't really know what to do... Edit: I doubt two games will take more than an hour..
It's game 2, and it really is excellent. Cow's marathon play as QoT is just crazy, and Atma and Ba make a stellar comeback from a position 30 seconds or so from GG. Judging from Cow's comments he was bitter about this game, but I'm not sure from a first watch how he could have played better tactically, the game just went on long enough that TB/UB trumped QoT/UB.
Like Teseer says - 8 pm EST tonight, Kal/RAW vs. If it doesn't happen then I'm not sure when it will, since Tes is working for the next four days and I'm gonna be busy, too, so hopefully you guys are around and reading this..
