Considering that the Impulse in-game and community features (Reactor.dll I believe) were released a year early, I am sure that Stardock has a lot of improvements in active development. That screenshot teaser looks great!
What this game really needs is an easier way to make friends online and clan support. I know this is going to be implemented, but with a game so focused on teamwork it makes me wonder why this wasn't included from day 1.
Indeed! I tend to only continue with an online game if I find a group of fun people. If a game makes it difficult to effectively communicate with others, players may not make any in-game friends, an
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Yeah, I definitely think that a more functional Pantheon will allow for more casual play. Custom games seem to be more organized (pre-mades, etc.), so Pantheon needs to serve as the skill-based matchmaking mode.
So I've concluded that Demigod may be headed for a destination of which I am not particularly fond. Games that have small communities, but strongly competitive elements, will initially discourage new players. Frustrating game outcomes and a massive skill and experience gap will quickly turn new players away, preventing growth. As the game ages, many of the more casual players will leave, and only the veterans and competitive players will remain. Thus, if we maintain the status quo, the commun

^ Can someone translate this? Also, the USSR was a failed state. Why would you ever try to make an argument using their failed practices?
So the welfare state is back in style, thanks to the pulpit for nobodies known as the Internet, hm? Interesting.
Favor continues to be broken after several patches that claim to have "fixed" it. Can we get a real fix, please? It is terrible for balance that some users have nearly unlimited favor, while others cannot gain any.
Favor is screwed up in a variety of ways: -achievements awarded that have not been earned -achievements that are earned are not saved -favor is not saved after any match type for some users -favor items are not saved after purchasing for some users
Umm, at some point they were planning to stop letting you keep your favor points from custom games. They may have put that into effect, are you playing custom or pantheon?
Both. As of 5/15, I am getting favor from neither Pantheon nor customs.
I hope that GPG is aware of this...
They have failed to get Favor working consistently and reliably since launch. Every patch breaks it in a new and frustrating way. This is really starting to annoy me.
Fix favor already! -favor not properly awarded at the end of games -achievements totally broken (many awarded that have not been earned, ones earned are not rewarded) -favor item purchases not saved (must be purchased again, draining favor)
Seriously, fix this. I've been very patient throughout this mess of a launch, but several weeks into it, simple things like Favor and Achievements should at least be partially working. For many users, they are totally broken.
Is GPG even aware of this particular bug?
Still broken as of today's (5/14) patch.
Ditto! I have: -achievements I never earned I don't have: -achievements I get credit for in games -favor I earn in custom games (stuck at 705) Help!
Occasionally, Last Stand (Oak) fails to trigger when he dies. Instead, he gets the usual death cam treatment and that's that.

Yes, can we get some information on this? Favor is still not accumulating properly for me.
Excellent video Brad! You really are the best when it comes to communicating with customers.
Solution: Custom control settings. Simple.
Criticisms these are not - these are suggestions. As I stated, "From some of what I have read, it seems that the Assassins are bereft of the more conventional direct-command powers of Generals, to whatever degree Generals will ultimately possess them in this game." In other words I *am* aware that the precise powers that Generals utilize are unknown at this time. TheBigOne, Good!...[/
