I hate to mention DotA, but isn't it patched practically every 2weeks?
Why do you hate to mention DoTA? This game might as well be named DoTA2!

80 Demigods would not be too many, and they don't end up being too similar. That's what is so fantastic about DoTA!!! The 80 different heroes are all so... DIFFERENT! There would be no problem of players leaving because it was a random thing that they didn't like, because players who choose to join a random type game are expecting anything. It is really a rare thing to see people leave cause they got a hero they didn't want in DoTA. One of the reasons for this is that you can s
Certainly it will be sometime until the Map Editor will come forward, and likely an element introduced in the final package.
I disagree that it is a likely element for this game.
C&C had really good grouping aswell. Exactly the same as warcrafts actually.
It will be dota style, each hero has a FEW skills - but their are many heroes. The games will not last long enough for this tech/talent tree idea. Once the game ends - so does you're hero.
The menus in game for warcraft 3 all loaded instantly. He's refering to the awesome slide of the chains and stuff when you log onto battlenet, before you get into the game. I can understand why you could get frustrated from that, but i don't think it needs to be INSTANT transitions. I think a really fast transition is perfectly acceptable. I think sometimes people can get overzealous and say that they don't want something in a game, without realizing that it would actually improve their
There should be blood and tits, and the game should be rated M. I'd rather not play with little kids who rant and flame others in any case.
I love dota and i read the developer say it was like dota and every SINGLE thing i've read about the game so far suggest it will be a revamped version of dota which is exactly what i will EXPECT and what i will GET.
While I agree that a map editor enhances the games replayability greatly, I also think that it wouldn't be as important for this game. This arena style team play is more of a minigame, which lacks the wide reaching gameplay required for a multitude of user-created maps. In other words, the players that create new maps would be recreating the same game with different environments. While this is not a bad thing, it lessens the need of the map editor for a few reasons: 1) When I l
Thanks to the games never expiring nor asking for a monthly access fee, veteran gamers do not complain when the games are greatly updated to the new engines for purchase (Counter-Strike Source, etc).
What veteran gamers of CS are you talking about? When went to source a large majority of veteran gamers quit because it was an awful step in the wrong direction...
I'm no coolaid drinker... I enjoyed blizzards games not because they were hyped up but because I tried them and thought "Hey this is new and fun" So shoot me but i'd rather pay for SC2(over Total Annihilation??? seriously what the hell is that) just cause i love the whole story and races and its just awesome.... It's so common nowadays for people to constantly bash blizzard, but is anyone really surprised? It is obviously the most popular game developer around; they have more m
Theres no way this game will be 5GB!!! I'm guessing 1.4GB
