Engines vs AI in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Ive been playing some games for 2-3h then droping them, and I've noticed a trend, the AI dosen't research engines. It was towards the last half of the 3h I was playing, and the Terran alliance and myself the Yor, were left on a large map. The terrans were throwing fleets of 3 "battleships" at me, 1 pc movement speed, and 18 railgun attack, 0 defence. My large hulls had about 15 attack and 3-4 pc movement speed a turn, and they were droping right and left, even though I had 77hp vs the terran

Queston about "Catching" AI fleets in Strategy Sins Forums

I've been having serious problems catching AI fleets. When I drop my fleet on top of them, they just jump to the next planet. Parking fleets around the planet I'm attacking doesn't work either they just run by them... Any tips? Thanks
