How do I re-install game if I own downloaded version? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

First of all if this has been covered please tell me the name of the thread; I have been searching and searching but I'm afraid that there are too many too scroll through for me to reach an answer any time this year :D So does anyone know how to reinstall the downloaded version of the game. Do I need to make a copy of the game onto a CD? The reason I ask is because the game continues to crash every game I play. If I reload the game from a save point the game still crashes every t

Sometimes I play a DA game just so I can design some usable ships, also I have never had DA crash a game that I couldnt reload and continue to play. ToA on the other hand: once my game crashes, it will crash at the same spot every time I load it. [e digicons]>:([/e]

Please fix the Ship Yard so stuff i build is at least comprable to what designs are already available( the ai controlled pre-designed ships hold more modules than anything the player can design themselves) this keeps me from designing my own ships. Please fix the terror stars so they are usefull to all, not just to those who are about to win anyways. And finnally please fix the game crashes. I was very happy to find this post. I was beginning to worry no-one else saw a problem with our new terror star. Ok so the biggest problem with them right now is their defenseive capabilities.Right now the only way a terror star can effectively be used is if the civilization building it is already ahead of the other cultures. Sure you can build it next to a peacfull neighbor and quickly wipe them out, but afterwards if you dont have the superior military(and odds are you will not because

I hope that this bug is fixed because I love designing my own ships( I will make an evening out of adding extras to the hull untill every hard point is taken :D)I noticed this bug about 3 games ago and since I have not designed any of my own ships, simply because the ai's ship designs hold a lot more modules than any i can design; with all of the same techs being used---wtf?. This really makes me furious because; A: the pre-manufactured ship designs are kind of silly

I may be wrong about this but I use creativity and luck together when building a custom civ(universalists political party, one point on luck and one on creativity) ; it seems to deliver me techs ahead of schedule very often.
