Create a game with a password and add bots. That is pretty much what the single player verison would be like.

The main reason why so many more people are playing HoN is because it is free. If demigod were free I am sure there would be a lot more playing it. Lets see them charge $50 for it and see how many people are playing it. I played HoN for exactly 5 mintutes and got so frustrated with the interface I had to quit. I recently got into the LoL beta and while overall it is the same game, I did like it more then HoN. People keep saying that there are so many more characters to play, but I mus
Regulus is the easiest class to play against as a UB. He has absolutely no counter to spit - He tries to kite you, just spit him and then spit him again, rinse wash and repeat. Just grab the Blade of the Serpent and you can keep spit on him 24/7 if he tries to engage you. If he lets you get close, a spit/grasp/spit really toasts him.
It really depends how the regulus plays. I usually get an item that gives heal
A friend of mine found it at Walmart for $29.99
Demigod crashed when trying to reload the game lobby. Since then I have been unable to login to Demigod. I get the infamous "You have entered an invalid username/password" error even though I have entered the correct information. This happened on Friday too. Normally I wouldn't complain as it usually comes back after 5 minutes, but both now and on Friday it isn't coming back. I wasn't able to log back in until Saturday morning. I emailed stardock tech support but they didn't respond u
The lobby servers are messed up right now. For me every time it talks to the lobby server the game hangs for 30seconds or so. It is very annoying. I had it happen last night where I went over 3 hours with it saying invalid username or password. I think the lobby server just needs a reboot. Too bad nobody is around to check it out :(.
anyone in tech support there? Its been 1h30m and I still can't login since my last game crash.
30 minutes later and I still can't login.
I think the lobby servers are messed up right now. A group of friends and I were trying to play a game and every time we click on someting in the lobby the game locks up for 30sec to a minute. Game lobbies are crashing a lot too. I am currently stuck in the mode where it says my username and passoword is invalid which has lasted for over 20 minutes. Maybe the servers need a quick reboot or something.
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/rematch First definition "to match again, duplicate". If you change the parameters then it isn't a rematch.
There could be many things done to fix cap locks IMO. To counter what Scufo is saying about carrying caplocks as people wasting money, I don't buy it. By end game, someone can buy 3 cap locks for 750 gold which he can earn in a minute. He already has most of his items and is doing ok. I agree that buying early game caplocks are a waste of money and I am happy when I see the enemy team doing it, but at end game they are so cheap that it costs almost nothing to do. Here are my ideas of how capl
Not that I am saying that I disagree with rematch going back to the lobby, but by definition a rematch is replaying the game with teh exact same conditions as before. It wouldn't be a rematch if you could change your demigod or change the map. It would be a new match with the same people. I think that after a game regardless if people want to play again it should go back to the lobby. If people don't want to play again they leave the lobby.
runs fine for me. Didn't have the issues you are having.

You have to spend an extremely valuable skill point... to take down towers for free. Thats the balance. A whole skill point just to be a tower killer, where everyone elses skill is usefull almost anywhere.
I don't agree with this. The increase in range is a very useful skill. It allows the regulus to do his auto attack from further away so he ca
Basically no reg isnt imbalanced, if anything he is one of the weaker demigods without a decent team. Though thats true of every demigod... wha... true of every demigod....... that almost soudns like its equall and balanced
I was about to disagree but in the operative phrase was "without a decent team". Regulus is definately a support character and with the right team he can be deadly. There are other support characters that ar
Besides, wasn't the supposed problem that they were too easy to kill when undefended? Is being able to take a few tower hits an issue now, too?
I agree with you on this Sakhari, my goal was to make towers a more formidal opponent in the game. I don't get frustrated when the towers fail to kill someone when they try to escape, but I do when they can solo a tower in under a minute.
Bringing down towers already is a crucial part of the game. They're the only things (on most maps, anyway) keeping your opponents from waltzing in and hacking away at your forts or citadel and stealing your portals and other flags. Yes, there are always going to be undefended towers but you're just as capable of moving to defend them as your opponent is of moving in to attack (and those minions and Rook towers, for the most p
I keep hearing people talk about towers being to easy to take down. People talk about lots of things. That doesn't necessarily mean that there's anything wrong. Undefended towers are 'supposed' to come down. The mechanic exists to stall people from getting to the goal of the game, be it the citadel, forts, etc. As the game drags on and levels increase, yeah. It gets easier to break through th
I keep hearing people talk about towers being to easy to take down. I hear people say that they can be exploited by the rook placing a tower near the enemies tower, walk away and let the enemy tower target the rooks tower. Then the rook can go in and attack it without being attached by the tower. From my experience, once a player gets to level 10, towers are like mosquitos. They are merely a nuissence. Even when upgraded, they are still a joke. I think towers would become much more ef
I mainly play regulus now. Mostly because I am the best person with the group of people I play with in laying mines at the right time. I don't do a conventional build, but it is fairly effective (I am over %50 with regulus). When I play against a regulus that does random snipe, I find my team usually wins. Snipe is most useful when a battle is about to begin to start the other team with a disadvantage, or to finish off someone who is running. At level one the snipe only does 400 damag
I must admit that I get mad at a sedna that isn't in the fight and doesn't heal when she can. That being said, if you want to play as a Sedna that doesn't heal, let everyone know in advance. When I am playing and I have a sedna behind me, I will extend myself a bit further knowing that the sedna will come through and nothing is more frustrating when she doesn't. If I knew the Sedna was not going heal, was out of mana or whatnot, then I would play diffrerently. Communication is most important.
The automatic retrieving of mods you don't have could be another possibility. One I'd personally recommend, easy mod distribution is a good thing. Unfortunately it wont be possible for things like maps due to their size, but smaller mods that change insignificant things could be sharable.
I am a bit scared that mods will make demigod to overwhelming for new players. I expect once modding is fully supporte
Connection Info would display a player’s rank/experience to better balance custom games
I have seen some posts asking for this in the forums, though I need to voice my concern about this. While it is true that displaying the player's rank and experience will allow for a better balance in custom games, in turn it will make getting into a game of demigod much harder. Right now when I join a game, it can take a few minutes to find the number of people
