Well Logon Studio was written for XP in mind. Logon Studio Vista was written for Vista obviously. Any other OSes that get these programs running is great but not using the software as intended. Furthermore Logon Studio is not supported and is no longer developed. So to answer your question I would suggest running in XP compatibility mode. If that does not work then you may not be able to run Login Studio.
Is there any chance, since this is not supported any more and it was

I have not heard anything back, but I am suspecting this is a problem with Windows Resource Protection in Windows Server 2008 maybe being different/more difficult to crack than Vista.
I tried WinSrv2003 compatibility mode, and it did not appear to work. Is there more to setting it up than changing compatibility mode for the one program? Does this in fact work or should I set compatibility mode to one of the other OS choices? (not too familiar with using compatibility mode).
So in summary (with one new thing I thought of), the things that may make my system unique and incompatible with LogonStudio Vista: 1. running on Windows Server 2008, which heretofore has been identical to Vista, even down to the device driver 2. It's a 64 bit system not 32 bit 3. It's a dual monitor system (this is new info) Is this system compatible? Anything I can do to help test/debug? Thanks
Does not appear to work with Windows Server 2008 x64 either. Runs fine but nothing ever changes.
Does it work on x64/64 bit machines?
If you mean the other image/projects that show that I can select and accept, no they do not work either.
Are there any rules on what JPGs it can use? I wonder if it is having trouble with the dimensions of the picture. This display is 1920 x 1200 and the photo is not, I assumed it would stretch it as I use it as my wallpaper...
LogonStudio Vista, sorry for the mistake in my post...
I have used LogonStudio on Vista x32 with no problems. Today, I installed Windows Server 2008 x64 on another PC, and it is virtually identical to Vista - I even use Vista drivers in it. But LogonStudio does not work. When I hit apply, it "locks" the machine to show the new logon screen, but it's the same default one. I realize this may be hard to track down, but I have not found any Vista software yet that does not work on Win Srv 2K8. Anyone have an idea wh
