You guys are the most active and honest gaming companies I have ever come across. Just a note to all those people having problems opening ports, I had a Diamond DSL / Router Combo and opened the ports on the Router settings. Well... I can connect to the general lobby everytime. It does randomly pause for 10-20 sec every once and a while where the program doesn't respond at all. What happens when I try to join a match: 1. As soon as I press join a diag box appears "Attempting to Join Failed" 2. Same as above on another player... x that by 5 separate rooms. 3. 20min later I get into a room. But no one else can join so I wait for another 20 min. 4.

We actually had a tread going pleading to pospone the release. The game had issues the day before 0 day patch. GSP/Stardock is not like EA at all... EA just targets sales for the first 6 months, then all of a sudden they drop it for the next one. I don't think stardock will take the same path... or at least I hope they don't.

I just spent the night playing an oldy but goodie, Battle for Middle Earth 2. The online Multiplayer community is still strong even though they completely abandoned it. Why? because of several reasons, but most importantly the way the interface works when trying to join a game. 1st off... when you join the room you dont have to wait to connect to everyone first. Your in right away, then while you are choosing teams and settings you can chat with the other

These are all important things that need to be put into Demigod... Every RTS has them, so should Demigod.

Yes... This needs to be put into the game. Another thing is that when someone leaves the Game there is no way to know besides the fact that you read it in the chat. Demigod needs to update the "Tab" stats page to indicate who has left and is now controled by AI.

Well I use skype... that really sucks! is there anyway around it?

atm... I'm running Vista64 with a dual monitor setup from a gts8800. The problem I am having might be acting up but it's not really happening with other games. Here is the problem: I go to load the game and as soon as it starts it minimizes to the task bar. If I click on "Demigod" to open it, the game minimizes again to the taskbar. But if I start the game and rapidly click the screen the game doesn't minimize. Has this happened to anyone else?&nbsp

You def can not have auto matching!!! Will the server know who your m8's are? I don't think so. We need to see everyones records at all times. That way the host can kick noobs from the game.

xan... btw... i love Sins of a Solar Empire and think it's prob the best strat game that has come out in long while but everytime i log on there are 20-40 players online. The only thing I could think of was the lack of commuity or length of the game. Demigod shortened the length to 20 - 30 min... which is perfect for the casual gamer, but is still missing the community aspect that keeps people around. Maybe Impulse is the awsner... I really hope

Sure I can tell them to /join #WhopperJr But that means that I still need a different tool to organize the team... aka skype or somthing of the sort. The only problem is that say I want to play against another clan and they don't use skype... Looks to me that they won't be able to know if i'm online or msg me for a match. Am I wrong?

Here is an example that happened to me in another game.... 3v3 me and another were short on a clan member and our stats were really good... We decided to play another clan which had 3 members online, who we have beat many times... so we took on a third who we didn't know... long story short, it was one of there friends on a "smurf" account and purposely made hard for us to compete and DC'ed towards the end. This act hurt our record and they escaped without any re
