DesktopX crashing - directgui.dll in DesktopX WinCustomize Forums

I've suddenly developed a problem with running DesktopX on my system. Whenever I load the program, it crashes. I get the typical WindowsXP crash window stating that DesktopX.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close.
