Mission "Death of the Korx" in Dark Avatar GalCiv2 Forums

I'm completely lost on how to win this. I have to pick up a Korx leader, and bring him to a certain spot. I brought my ship to their homeworld, got a message from the Korx that "we may die, but perhaps our civilization will live on through our leaders" or something to that effect. I have no idea if I actually have their leader on my ship, but when I go to the bottom of the map, at the exit point, nothing happens. I tried on normal difficulty, and then tried on cake
