The simplest answer is to increase the global cooldown on the lock so that the same person cannot keep a flag permalocked. It doesn't prevent the team from perma locking, but at least one person cannot keeping doing it.
That will be huge advantage for all voip teams, and make game much more complicated for all random teams. Why do you want to do that ?

Hello! Last weeks i see like 75% premade custom games. People are obviously making some race for highest winning streaks. Make it clear, normally it's not fun at all to play in random team against premade team, like 3 friends vs 3 random or 4 friends vs 4 random. Sometimes You can beat premade team, but thats really hard to achieve. So I started to think... is this game going to be fully premade ? At the start, I could play this game just for fun, from time to time, joining so
Delete all Your profile files from (../My Documents/My Games/Gas Powered Games/Demigod) and try again.
For Regulus, the ONLY skill which makes resonable dmg in close combat is mines skill, and You want to change it ? What Regulus will be like, without mines, instead with some stupid granades ? You complaying Regulus can throw mines right in Your face ? So move ! No one said You have to stand there, while Regulus is throwing mines. No one said, You can't use quick stun (Oak, Sedna, UB) to cancel throwing. Taking mines away from Regulus will make this char impossible to 1 vs 1 anyone (ev
Well i heard there was some map editor during beta, so this shouldn't be a big problem. Beside, they probably made all maps we see now in some editor. I don't think these days programists literally "write" maps from the scratch (correct me if i'm wrong).
Definitely You guys should relase map editor ASAP. It's the easiest way to relase new good maps. Just let players make them - we know what we need !! :) You can make some simple map downloading system. When someone try to join game with map which he don't have, game shows You map preview and ask if You want to download it from the host's computer. There could be a "player-made" map ranking on the Demigod website with popularity (downloads so far / rating so far).
"Open your ports, and you will connect to all the other players in 5 seconds or less." OK, from the beggining. Here, in my country, not all ppl have their own IP. My internet provider don't give me my own IP, so You can't connect to me. Sure here on forum You see "my" IP adress, but thats the adress of my provider server !! I don't have my own IP, so I have to connect to others, others don't see me. Now, in this week this game will be relased in my country, where many ppl have
"Also in the beta, i'm usually able to connect to everyone in a matter of seconds after entering the lobby, while before it took ages.." Well, I'm not saying they should make connecting slower. You just didn't understand me. If the game connects faster to others that's OK !! If You can connect within 2-3s now to all, what's the difference to You, if You wait those 2-3s in Lobby or in connection box ? The problem exists for people who have NAT and/or can't connect to other
Well I think, the beta patch was simply try to fool us. Yes, it connects faster, because... we are connecting only to the person, who host game at the beggining. Then, when You are in lobby, You still need to connect to other players !! So why I don't like this idea ? Normally You knew in which game You can / can't enter. Game was waiting to connect to all players before go to lobby. So if there was some fail connection or NAT problems, You couldn't connect, so You knew that r
Well there is a problem with sound settings with new beta patch. Game just don't care about Your sound preferences. If You run the game, it's all the time default values for Volume and settings (eg. I have music set to 0, but every time I start new beta game, the music is on). It's a bit annoying, cause I have to setup sound settings every time I start the game. Hope it will be fixed in official patch.
