This is very different than your usual TBS game. There is no hundred units or any building whatsoever. It's designed to be a fast (an avarage match takes 30 mins) competitive multiplayer game.

Being able to switch from Fullscreen to Window mode and vice versa with Alt+Enter would be very welcome. The most annoying part at the moment (beta 1) is that you cannot change it while in a lobby. Also, it should remember the position and dimension of the window. You can even make it downsize if you resize it over the borders of your screen or reposition if you move it past the top of the screen (e.g. like Guild Wars does it).
Right now I personally just focus on the Demigod with T, rotate with spacebar and zoom out when I need a bigger overview. This way you can easily keep your fingers on QWER.
Might also be because everyone is too lazy to write a reason.
I wouldn't mind being able to set the timezone? Also, having view all recent posts/mark all posts as read on top would be handy. P.S. - The recent posts listing on the bottom is confusing since it shows posts from the off-topic category which is not in the list of categories you can browse on the top. - The last post info on the right in the index should, imo, show the last reply or topic post (whichever was made last) not only the last post (topic) made.

I haven't played Savage, but another distinction is that Demigod will be a lot smaller scale and more organized (1-10 players). In Savage it's usually 20-player matches which are composed of whoever gets there first. In Demigod I expect some predefined organized teams to start pwning ass. Hoping to see a 2v2 ladder! *waits for beta* Also, as far as I understand it, in Savage the commander isn't actually in the game, but just builds buildings and commands the other players -- savages aro
