Isn't this kinda Beta 3B? Or are you making suggestions in a different way?

Hey! No zombie threads!
I use them in certain minion builds with Oak, it can actually be pretty good.
I haven't played with Regulus myself, but the way you're talking just makes it sound like he's an early game guy just like TB is a late game one.
Monkey, spear or sword. Possibly minions. That's all I can take from this and think of.
Although making the generals weaker might have been a good idea at first, at this point it isn't happening.
Forget developers! We've got beta testers! In the light that he's going to be an assassin, he should use a sword. We have an axe, a hammer, a bow, and two staves, but no swords!
I checked it again just to make sure. First I hosted a game and set it to slaughter, but I didn't start the game Then Fire-Ice came and hosted a game of conquest for me. Finally I joined his game and checked my game options to find that it showed the game options from my last host. I'm going to give F-I +1 k as soon as I can too.
I don't completely agree with the glass cannons. That leaves a more defensive demigod like Oak open. And if you can kill a minion in two hits it'll be faster than you can kill low level zerg. But minions are just like the zerg, only the have a cost. If you ask me minions should take a percentile buff like you said. But they should also have their gold cost lowered or have generals get more money to pay for them. Even the level 2 and 3 minions are decent, but with the cost yo
Great ideas, and karma is working if you veiw this from impulse, just look for his username and recent posts on impulse if you want to give it to him/her based on this. I especially like the tower upgrades. Combined with oak (assuming it isn't 1 v 1) it can create an unstoppable defensive line.
No, and I'm seeing that I tend to plan ahead implicitly, but I have yet to actually take the citadel upgrades into consideration unless I die. There really needs to be an incentive to go back there and have strategies when buying.
Actually, as far as I know all generals do have atleast the smallest form of CC.
I found out through playing some more that the q and e keys rotate the camera, but I would like it if I could also rotate it by holding down the right mouse button like almost every other RTS I play.
What I meant by button mashing is that I just play how I feel in that second, no planning ahead or anything. And I do play against other people, I usually end up winning too, which sorta scares me.
Most of it seems good, the only problem I have is the antifaction part. That's the core essence of this game's story. Take that away and you're left with Sins of a Solar Empire.
A lot of these posts are about specific things. I wanted to post about my feeling of the game overall. I know this is just the beginning of Beta 3, but bare with me. I've been playing for about a month and ever since I started until now, the way I play feels like I'm button mashing through a fighter. I just can't grasp any real concept of strategy. Part of this is because of the bad frame rates, but I still can't see any real strategies forming. The only thing I've heard that really f
It would be nice if we could turn off the opening sequence like we can in Sins. It would be even nicer if we could watch it without restarting the game. Not a biggie, but something nice to spice up the game.
When you look at the game options and you're not hosting it shows the options for your last game unless your host changes something. This isn't a huge deal, but not something I'd ship with, and it made me think we were playing dominate when we were playing conquest.
It would be nice to see Release date pushed back farther to really see some skills get worked with but oh well
Just remember that not only does programming costs time, but also money. If a Demigod costs 100,000 USD I'd like to see how much a skill costs.
Ah good, so it's not just me who can't download it.
Thnx for the tip! And not to be rude, but I had to read that twice before I know what it said.
I think we should change but I also think we shouldn't change assasin to something else. on 1 hand assasin to me isn't walking castle, on the other hand everytime I call Rook an assasin espicially to my friends they crack up.
the day I could understand you at all I thought assassin was really weird at first, but I can't think of anything else that fits, and I'm used to it.
the last one is already there, it's on the left and has the hotkey 'm'
I'm on board with a lot of other people when I say generals are more like assassins with pets. A lot of people I hear are talking about the idol system and the general strength of minions. I don't disagree to their part in this problem, but I have also noticed something else I haven't heard much of here. Generals have too many incentives to keep their minions close by. Of course there should be some moves where the general can help those around him, but currently there are too many, and they
