gkrit, you don't seem to be proposing any changes for mines, snipe, or maim, do you think they are fine?
And Reg has higher armor, attack rate, and health.
Sorry your missing the point, with the debuff reg shoots slower, TB does more damage to reg than reg does to tb, so armor to damage isn't working out for reg, and hp is pretty similar, especially considering that rain of ice is beats snipe.
Which mods? I have 3 active mods and I haven't had a crash in ages. The simple answer is mods modify code so they could have unintended consequences, but most of them are benign.
TB not only has the debuff, but at lvl 1 he does more dmg than reg per shot.
Reg loses AA fights to ice TB. That tells you someting is seriously off.
I am excited for the AAA tiltes, when should we see them?
Really something needs to be done to make him viable from lvl 1-9. Early game he is atrocious. Also, if the opposing team is equal he still gets hammered from lvl 15 on. In generqal his play style make it very difficult to hold any lane or flag and his speed is typically beaten by TB, UB, Sedna, LE, oak. For such a squichy character that can be deadly, until level 10 mines. What can you tell me about what the lvl 4 maim (seen at lvl 15) does in lua? I
I'm not sure it is possible but for casters such as TB or Reg, is it possible to give "spells" such as fire and snipe a dmg+bonus dmgxlvl in the lua. If it is this could help them maintain relevance in later levels when hp stacking is heavier, but prevent them from being overpowered early-mid game.
and you guys who all create balance mods should talk with each other so that hopefully finally you build one big balance mod that most people agree on using.
We could use one great balance mod (to rule them all), so that it has a chance of being adopted by SD/GPG.
Hi everyone, I just bought Demigod second-hand today. Unfortunately I didn't realise until I had made it home that there was no CD Key included, I had been ripped by the seller. I managed to install the game and can still play single-player games, but I want to know if there is any way I can purchase just the CD key from somewhere, I know I can download the whole game digitally but I don't need that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
<p
Nice to see this, hope it an be official. I'll be commenting once regulus shows up. What demis are you planning to buff?
This is silly. You guys are all welcome to your opinions on whether P2P or Client/Server is superior, but blanket statements like "Demigod will never be good because it is p2p" is a giant load. I only need to point to this games closest sibling, Supreme Commander, to rule out that whole line of thinking. These techs both have pros and cons, trade offs and limitations. RTS games have traditionally used p2p systems for a lot o
If the game connected you to all the players online waiting, a limbo lobby of sorts a la battle.net, then i think there would be many more games going. As you referred to, there is no set community area soley within demigod, their are partial ones in the forum and on the IRC.
This would be great along with a small "news section" that shows the latest journals and maybe community mods. These are the things they overl
If I assume that there is a general agreement that reg is too weak to be useful in a competitive game where there are many haling minions, then wouldn't that suggest he needs a buff to bring him in-line or that healing minions need to be nerfed?
I agree. I can only hope this happens, but so far there has been no love for reg.
Great work, nice to see some higher order modding coming. I love the look of the red petals. Really cool stuff.
Are there any plans to buff ranged demigods like TB, Reg and QoT because they simply cannot compete with melee demigods especially if the other team does not have either a reg, tb or QoT on there team?
This!!! Buff is needed to make these guys viable in medium to high level play, even (they are junk at pro).
How is this on the Stardock domain is my question.
Wow, intersting catch. What is the point of this program? How can it be used in any helpful way?
Hmmm.... sounds like given you final statement that you are likely using a pirated copy and thus have no access to the patches that legitimate purchasers have. They have released several major patches for the game and the most recent adds mod support. If you did not pirate the game, try download and registering in impulse. Then it will tell you there is an update and you can download it and get the most recent version.
If the appearance chance is less that 100, there is a chance that it will not be added to the player’s tech tree at the start of the game.
Could you further explain this point?
Looking better and better. I'll get a good chunk of time in over christmas. Hope to see a 1C.1 by them.
Playing a good regulus isn't easy. There's so many bad Reg players especially in pantheon. I don't get why noobs like him so much. He is toast vs any form of health stacking.
Tell me about it. I am a competent reg who plays pantheon for fun. I dread the constant 10-30% win rate of my reg allies. How my win rate is 60% still blows my mind sometimes.
Thanks for the tips, hopefully some people use them. I am better (win-wise) with UB, but I love to play reg so much more. I can't stand how bad most reg players, especially in pantheon. 2 regs (one of them crappy) is a sure loss. Anyways, here's hoping some pantheon players look at this.
This just screams noob. You're not going to get better by avoiding your obstacles.
Really some of the dgs need a buff. You don't deny that do you? There is a reason anyone good plays with 3 or 4 DGs when there are 8 (or now 10).
Just to clarify: Any ping under 350 is perfectly acceptable as the game has built in simulated-LAG for this amount. Any SIM Speed over 1 is perfectly acceptable, as your SIM Speed is the number of times faster you're capable of running the game at that moment - SIM Speed of 5 means you can run the game 5 times faster than it is currently running. This is a residual feature from the Supreme Commander engine.
</
