I'm already adjusting my play to compensate for an impending nerf. Also, my Citadel stomps don't work against good players who are prepared. I still have to work for the win and the rest of my team still ha
Shadow it's not an exaggeration ok? I was away from my citadel and soon as it started getting attacked, I ran back towards it, by the time I got there it was a few thousand HP away from death. Look at my record, and then come tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. I'm a good player and you aren't looking at the big picture. Sometimes a combination of Demigods can not possibly counter that strategy. I couldn't do shit against it as
Whenever a pack of minions can destroy any tower in 7 seconds, or run past them all and do 20k damage to your citadel in 30 seconds, then it needs a nerf. Maybe you haven't played against an Erebus that maxes out his minions before but it is extremely frustrating.
Man alive stop exaggerating.
We weren't getting stomped thank you very much. We were doing the stomping. I really don't think you understand a thing I'm talking abo
I just want to start off by saying holy shit, I just finished possibly the 2 most frustrating demigod games in my life. Erebus maxing out minion upgrades, and sending them to attack towers, and even our citadel, which almost made us lose a game we completely dominated in kills, warscore, and upgrades. If there was more than 1 erebus on the other team using that "strategy", we would have lost. There is no viable counter, as the only way to prevent it is to kill Erebus, an
This is achieved by having moderate minion item staking and is so funny it's sad (I think i've seen them push close or over 3k per night walker; +1800hp is possible). I shouldn't be able to push around an entire team on my own with nothing but minions. Currently this strat is even more broken then Sedna's 2k minion heal build.
Um, no. You're not getting 3k HP nightwalkers in any remotely realistic game.

Wanna see some real bullshit? http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/735538/player/24552/ Poor sta7ic got a loss for that!!! Guess what? He wasn't in the game, ItchyDustbin was. LOL
To clarify - your stance is its not possible to get any better than you are due to coding issues? *makes brain hurt*
Yeah, that's exactly what I said. Verbatim.
Do you know a damn thing about adapting?
We've clearly demonstrated a much greater proclivity for it than you. You have your scrub mentality, we have our competitive one. You try to rationalize getting smashed over and over, we try to rationalize why it's so important to win. The two are never going to see eye to eye.
So why are you playing an unbalanced game? Doesn't sound very fun. Oh wait

When I first started playing I thought speed was king too. I even made a post asking other people what they though about it. In hindsight, prioritizing speed is usually not the best way to go. Nowadays we usually laugh when we see someone who obviously picked anklet and boots of speed as their starting items.

We played a game against the OP last night and he used this build. It was quite... annoying. Don't be so harsh on him, he's no noob.
The winner is not decided the moment you start
Until this game is balanced, yes, it often is.
I hope you still believe that some skill is involved in the game, right? There is the releam of possibility of out playing someone, remember?
Not really. Demigod does not have a huge learning curve. You have eight Demigods, of which only two or three are likely to suit your personality. From there, you have&n
Not if you chose random heroes. Maybe....try it?
The winner would often be determined the moment the game started. Also, being able to reconnect to a game after dropping would have been amazing.
Actually that sounds like a great idea. Make games with "Premade only" in the title to lure in premades, then host disconnect loss them to ruin their precious records. Genius I say!
You've taken the level of maturity here to a whole new level. I'll be sure to avoid games with "premade only" in the title in the future. Seriously, you don't even play Demigod, why are you here? Zamzoph, when you're done putting words in my mout
More importantly, though, why exactly is it that you don't want to play against eachother? It's rather counterproductive to your goal of getting a challenge.
Because we derive greater satisfaction working with each other instead of against. The game rewards good teamwork, we've simply taken it to the next level. If my goal was merely "getting a challenge" I would go outside and attempt to deadlift my car.

I dedicate this thread to these brave men. They are to be commended for their selfless masochism, knowing full well the team against them is stacked beyond all hope, yet they stick it out and even semmingly have fun doing it. And they do it again, and again, and again...
Question I have yet to see discussed: If premade teams truly desire to have competitive matches and not rofl stomps, why dont they either... A: join other matches so that they will likely be put up against another premade, rather than hosting their own all the time? B: split up their little friend group as evenly as possible between both Light and Dark teams? For example, a four-man premade can just as well do a 2v2

If you see CdrRogdan, RapierX and I online at the same time, let's do this :) ItchyDustbin is our mighty fourth for those who want to 4v4. We can't do 5v5 yet because Rogdan's computer can't handle it.
