Meh, it could have a small blast radius, or it could be a one use per game "apocalypse" class spell, or have catastrophic reprecussions on the user for invoking such a spell of chaos and destruction.... It could also make for a good cinematic, but then people would wonder who cast it, and if they find out who, how it would be obtainable. This would make players be either very excited or dissapointed, depending on whether or not you can unlock the spell. Also another thought, it

This would be especially necessary in demigod, because while you are playing against an opponent, you can't pause the game to change some settings. While you are waiting those precious few seconds for your menu to load, your general/assassin could be getting ambushed.

That would be really neat. Here is my take on that idea. Imagine a giant meteor coming from the heavens to destroy a bridge, debris flying and hitting (and killing) your units. Or the same meteor having crashing into the bridge, but instead of destroying it, all the units it hits instantly die (while heroes would take massive damage), and it would create a shockwave that knocks over heavily armored units, and sends your lightly armored smaller units flying into the abyss, leav

I could just see the lowly soldier or smaller class demigod suddenly look up, and see a towering Rook (huge behemoth power assassin) just come charging out of a cloud of fog and say...... awwwww man here comes the hurt.(while my hidden assassins pop up right behind him to deal with the charging foe). Not an actual I can't see you dark part of the world Fog of War liek in most games mind you, but an actual real life white cloudy fog. I could definitely picture something like tha

I for one am all for this, I would love for them to have a Map Creator that you can edit and add in your own special little tricks and traps into maps. The only problem for this would be file size. How large would a map be? With the looks of DemiGod so far it would seem that if we came up with our own epic custom maps that the file size would be pretty high. I wouldn't want to sit at my computer for 10 minutes downloading a large map someone made, just to realize it is a map created in

That does sound like it is voice commands that the AI will recognize and act on. IE "RETREAT" or "CHARGE" or something. But voice chat is a little bit of shaky ground, just because it can be abused ex. little kids screaming in Halo. It can also be alot of fun like just talking casually with people online like in Counter Strike so you can coordinate your assualts. I would like them to implemment this feature but to put a buffer on it so, if necessary, you can turn it off/mute it.

I do love the Strategic Zoom, as I have played Supreme Commander, and it reduces the need of a minimap quite a bit, but it would also be good if you had a minimap you could turn on or off.

[quote]Stage A-b-c-d-e Both team start at stage C and the winning team gets to advance into the enemy territory the next game. To win you have to win the game at the enemies home base, in this case E or A. Just by implementing something of the sort you can really vary the gameplay for either a continous (keep hero and levels at the next stage), Reset the levels after you win, or decrease/increase leveling speeds. Hmmmm... possibly a map that is in a "fiery" setting. Maybe a volcano, or on top of a hotspot of somesort, but during the battle random platforms on the map will fall out from under you and collapse into the fire, immidiately eliminating those units. Another variation of this could be that platforms have a "weight limit" and if there are too many units condensed into a certain area, then the platform would give way and collapse. I could also see an Islands type setting where random thin

Hmmmmm, I'm both a fan of RTS's and Dota. I guess I will have to get a feel for both, I love the micro of the general, but at the same time i wanna be the maxed out hero bringing the hurt on everyone else.... We will just have to see how each one plays out....
