I agree with what was posted earlier. Your workstation is outdated for today's games. I would suggest a core 2 duo/quad with 2GB and at least a 8800GT. It will run smoothly at 1600x1200 with that setup. The cost is very minor believe it or not.

Most of the things you suggest can not be included this late in the process. Think about it.
@Iprometheus How about giving it a little more time before making such outlandish claims. Your black and white statements come off as quite childish to me.
1. Minimap is your friend. 2. Good luck getting this to be practical in any way given the sheer number of units. 3. No opinion on this one.
I love the map personally because it is so "chaotic". The short distance and open terrain keeps you on your toes and leaves no room for error. This is the point of the map IMHO. The whole point of varied maps is vary the gameplay. Not all of them will favor your style. That is a good thing.
Have you tried resetting your password, etc? There was an update today that caused me a little grief, but a restart fixed it.
I believe that balance issues are the only bug reports they want at this time. Read the Beta 2 post.
Great news and thanks for the update. The game is actually a ton of fun for me; even in its current state. Bring on Thanksgiving.
The "negative" rating thing on Amazon will not dissuade anyone from grabbing the thing...it is stupid to think otherwise.
Do you have a logitech camera set up on your computer?
Quoting jeffwads, reply 2also, try it with a single video card running. perhaps the crossfire setup is screwing it up. I tried it with my other PC and on my Laptop, too. the same bug, the screen's freezed on the Map 5 when I move the mouse, the sound's still playing.
Does your pc use Vista also?
another thing you could try is setting the resolution within the game to 1440x900 on the options menu with all the options set to low and then work up from there.
also, try it with a single video card running. perhaps the crossfire setup is screwing it up.
I think it should be an option...it does help to visually notify you of global occurences (flags captured, friendlies, etc). It must be removable.
That is pretty weird...I also had a problem starting it at first and just happened to kill the commhelper deal among others to fix it. Thanks for narrowing it down.
The 30fps is probably due to you having vertical sync enabled in the game.
My thoughts exactly.
Next time, read exactly what it states. Unless a dialogue box pops up asking whether you would like to repair the application, it will remove the application by default. This has nothing to do with Impulse. As for the not running part, I experienced the same thing and just hit run a few more times to get it going. Beta means beta, etc. By the way, use Impulse to remove it, not Add and Remove Programs.
i downloaded and installed the beat, but when i go to play lan it says there are no games? im not sure what i should do to be able to play can someone that has played help me please
Select multiplayer and set up a server and join it.
When you purchase an item and try to mouseover it in the character screen, the tooltip flickers on and off at a fairly insane annoying unreadable rate.
I believe you guys are supposed to be posting your system configuration. run dxdiag.
I can't imagine someone getting 3M/s...impulse looks like it uses 1 pipe to grab the files. Even on a 10 Mb line I got no more than 700Kb/s.
Why don't you run dxdiag like was requested in another official post? That may give your video chipset, etc.
Downloading now. This ought to be fun. Paid with a credit card about 4 weeks or so ago, maybe longer.
Yeah, people always seem to underestimate the importance of getting the most recent drivers, etc. Can't wait for this baby.
Excellent information....love the behind the scenes stuff.
