Does it matter if its like dota or not? Does it have to have certain things from dota to be a good competitive game? Would it be a complete failure if they used ideas from dota and expanded upon them? The beta has been out 3-4 days now and people are still argueing over petty things.(We are not even at the beta stage were they make any changes) Any Suggestion should only spawn creative thinking on how to improve this game.
If they removed this ability and changed it to another sniping ability then he would be played only one way. I hope they do not do that.
In Counterstrike exist two dozen weapons, but 90% of the players use Deagle + M4/Ak.. wow.
pfft deagle/awp :P
wc3 may choose about 45 heroes perfectly balanced... and about 100 items.. only 8 demigos are littl
during my experience with dota, out of the 91 total characters, their abilities start to repeat themselves...so the game becomes watered down imo.
They should make demigod like Counter-strike, its stood the test of time longer :D Demigod just cant make an replica of Dota with some different models on it then just tinker a little bit with the mechanics. Valve tried that with Source. Huge numbers rejected CS:Source, of course there were people that went along to play the game just because it looked a little better. I believe that Dota layed down the ground work for Demigod now they just have to expand upon the ideas, make the game
and it does, the lag spikes are a non issue...they happen once in a great while...i just wanted to give a little feedback on how my computer handled it.
The video card i do not consider low end, but the rest of the computer i do, Its 1.9 Ghz with 1 gig of ram, Most of the newer games like CoD4 i go to canyourunit.com and they tell me that my computer probably cant run it but it does just fine with it.
If there is any other info let me know, ill put it up --------------- Display Devices --------------- Card name: NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT Manufacturer: NVIDIA Chip type: GeForce 9600 GT DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC Device Key: Enum\PCI\VEN_10DE&DEV_0622&am
I just finished playing a few games against the AI, I didnt really have any problems when playing the game. Once in a great while I would get a lag spike.(nothing big enough to effect game play though) I have all the settings set on Low at the moment. I plan on trying higher settings later tonight. I figure I would post something since I believe I have a lower end computer and this could help you as far as system requirements goes. ------------------ System Information -----
Portal was fun game to play, I had to play HL2 first to beat that before i went to Portal, and im still waiting on episode 3 to come out.
The cake is a lie!
I read the Gamespot preview and watched the trailer....then came to the site and read through the forums.
It is amazing on how big of a deal only having 8 demigods is causing and no one is really played the game yet.
Thank you.
I actually think dota has to many characters to choose from...
Well I actually like the idea of only have 8 demigods...it is easier to balance out 8 then it would be 12 to 15 at the start...as far as the micro transaction deal I would assume they would have plenty of content released before the first year of free updates is done...For me personally though the micro updates is going to depend on price and how often they update and how much i still enjoy playing the game to decide if i will continue playing the game by then. I believe they have not made an
Well if those 10 reasons didn't convince you or the features page plus the trailer, I doubt biased beta testers are going to sway you.
Put it this way, I like the ideas that make up the game but i still need to watch it go on a test drive(game play video)or at the very least read reactions of a number of players that have played the game.
I really want to buy this game and play the beta but at the same time I do not feel I really know enough information about the game to spend $50 on it. I am hoping when beta comes out there will be some more information about it, along with some feedback from people that have actually tested the game out.
