But some SD guys weren't that psyched with this method, so if I were you, I'd make an archive of DG, then patch to beta and if the previously described downgrade doesn't work restore from archive

Looks like my previous post was a bit too optimistic. We got lucky on the 1st 5v5. The 2nd one took quite a while to set up. A lot of unconnected people, the game misstating connection status made it difficult to tell who the cause of the problem is. After a while (15 minutes or so) of join/leave experiments people started timing out. It seems the disconnect process isn't cleaned up and after a while can leave the lobby in a messy state. First of all: if you have problems updating from beta to beta (unexpected size of file or something like that), you need to go to impulse preferences and press the reset data button. It might not work the first time around, it did the 2nd time for me. Some people had success with this procedure after the patch failed to install: 1) right click demigod, press ignore update 2) reset data in preferences 3) restart impulse 4) patch 5)

Is it possible to tell impulse where I want the archived game to restore? Last time I restored from archive, it went into the program files directory, which is not something I want.
I played a custom game today. The game started. During loading, I got the message that I got kicked from the game by the host. I wasn't able to OK the message. After a few seconds I waas in the game, playing normally as if nothing happened. Perhaps it was some minor glitch, could indicate more bugs with determining the status of the connection to the game.
QoT - she should have a slower attack when she closes, faster attack when opened. When freshly spawned she has the correct speed. After closing and opening again, the attack speed stays on the closed (slower) values. It resets again if QoT gains a level while opened. General units can target and autoattack units hidden under the shroud
