TohKlidan: Did you try my solution I posted earlier? Kill the two processes in Task Manager and it will work. Batch file is optional but it's easier than killing those processes after each reboot... Maybe Stardock can put the taskkill in the exe -or the demigod stub thingy.
I also posted this solution on thread, http://forums.demigodthegame.com/346146 but I didn't go into any real detail about why it works there. We didn't have the Comodo Firewall but we did have the Logitech QuickCam thing. We had disabled it in msconfig in all the places that it showed up but we still had to spam the shortcut to get it to work. In fact, we got it working with the imagecfg fix listed in the above thread I mentioned but that forced the game to work on 1 core
If you have disabled Logitech from the msconfig menu and Demigod STILL doesn't work, then try this solution. Create a batch file (demigod.bat) and put the following in it. then just run the batch file instead of the demigod shortcut to play the game. Works every time.
