I'm sure I'm being totally retarded, but I CANNOT for the life of me find where you change maps in Beta 1-A - that new lava map is included in this build, right? I wanna play it!!! *stomps feet*

I hate being chain stunned as much as the next guy - but I think I've got a solution that is both practical, and 'makes sense'. If a Demigod is stunned while stunned, it becomes unstunned. Ie, if you are stunned by a rock from a Rook, and then stunned by TB before the Rook stun wears off, you become unstunned, or in other words, 'you wake up'. :D Therefor, if you want to chain stun a Demigod, you
Getting pissed off that you see another rook on the team is like getting pissed off in WoW or D2 that theres another Warror or Mage in the Arena/Active game. Also, no one flips out in TF2 when they see two snipers that look exactly alike. If fluff and Lore is the your issue here then steps should be taken to fluff it up, with different demigod skins, glowing weapons, item graphics, etc. Good demigods should look good, evil demigods
OMFGBBQSAWS I just spat all over my keyboard when I saw this!!!!!!!!!!!1111 That new map looks... well... EPIC!! I dare ANYONE to complain about 'linear' symmetrical maps in this game if that new map is a sign of what is to come!!!! IS IT THURSDAY YET?!????
I consider myself a close to pro dota player. I only play a certain number of heros depending on: team requirements, matchup, combo possibilities and lanes. The only heros I EVER play are: Mirana, Shadowfiend, Witchdoctor, Dragonknight, Axe, Invoker, Omniknight, Lich Most of you won't even know what those are, but the point is that I don't ever play any other heros other than these 8 (accept for fun, or whatever). When I first started playing, I'd play anything, but th
I want to be able to browse (so see the items in the shops, not buy them) the shops while dead, or out in the field. This gives the player an opportunity to get their heads around some of the items while they wait for respawn, or are in a lane. Probably already mentioned, but hey, I just want Beta 1A now, and have nothing better to do.
As far as more corpses per spell, I see your point - although if the corpse collection has a cooldown, that wouldn't allow you to automatically fill up your corpse count. Remember also, that 'using' those corpses for your spells means you become more vulnerable, as for this hero corpses = hp and damage. So it's a fine balance between how many corpses you use, and how many you keep. Good point about the more than 1 Corpse Dancer, allthough I'm assuming that you w
For me, one of the coolest things about RPG’s and RTS’s are corpses (they always disappear too quickly for my taste!) They are elements of a game that give it flavour (excuse the rather disgusting pun), but are so often overlooked. I once suggested a hero for Dota that made full use of corpses, so I thought I’d bring that idea across to Demigod. The he

Using spacebar, I alligned the camera so that I was looking through the orb of a tower - it is a see-through ball of light, but if you look at units through this ball, all you see are the shadows of the units and not their actual models. A small thing yes, but it should be fixed, if only to rid of the 'well that doesn't make sense, how come I can only see their shadows through this orb?' clause. Ps The orbs look AMAZING close-up by the way! :D
Irrelevant. Totally. It's retarded to dismiss elements that WORK in other games from discussion because they aren't of the same genre. GTFO please.
OMFG. That is all.
I'd like make the following suggestion: Why not have visual identifiers for killing sprees? What do I mean? Well, for example, if you kill 3 Demigods without dying, as well as the 'killing spree' voice over, you get a permanent visual identifier on your hero - ie, a silver halo or an aura. This will help identify which players are on killing sprees, which could assist in setting up ganks and ambushes on those players. I'd also like to see your 'value' go
I say all manuals should become digital - so like Supreme Commander did, on a CD. Why? Because it's a waste of trees. Saving the planet > manual IMO.
its Beta 1, lets see what happens costs a lot to make a single demigod (~100,000 US dollars) so its gonna be low at first, another thing, try to play differently, figure out a cooky way of playing a demigod, MAKE it interesting
rofl did you pull this figure out your ass, or do you have proof of this $100k per demigod claim?
I've played this game now vs AI for more than 10 hours, and am keen to join in on some human vs human action - are people ACTUALLY playing this game 3v3 via this thread?! If so, I'll see you soon!

hmm... could have been - haven't played as Rook yet - Rook can build towers??!!1 [e digicons]o_O[/e]
Hi, Played a game today where the front enemy tower respawned/was built again?! I pushed the first tower back on the right hand lane, then went to another lane, but when I returned to the right hand lane the tower had returned? Is this supposed to happen?
Hi there, A quick note about the beta installation from Stardock. FYI I'm in Windows Vista 64 So I successfully installed Impulse, and clicked on the install button for the Demigod Beta. It downloaded the file, but when complete it didn't start the install. When I clicked on the install again, it downloaded the file again. Eventually I clicked on the Impulse orb and the rerun the archive button (or whatever that thing is) and it installed
Item combination recipes are even less necessary, since it's just like buying an item except that you have to memorize some potentially obscure combination if you want to do so.
I could NOT disagree with you more. Each piece of each recipe in dota gives you early game advantages, which is EXACTLY what makes Dota recipes so genious. So for example an early game item that gives you health and mana can b
