Game won't start... at all. in Demigod Stardock Forums

After the last Demigod update, it seems that the game no longer wants to run on my computer. I uninstalled, verified installation, rebooted my computer, but nothing works. I went straight to the .exe and tried to run it and it still doesn't start up. I watched my task manager (WinXP obviously) and it seems like the Demigod process starts for half a second but then instantly shuts down. I've tried shutting down all other non-essential processes but Demigod still refuses
