Hey Daphonic, I think I can help cuz I just got over the same issue. You need to create another profile and log in as that one. Give that a shot and let us know how it turns out.

Just wanted to point out that I've had a couple instances where my Demigod evaded his own healing potion while weilding that evading staff artifact thingy (sorry, forgot its name). On a sidenote, the search function for this forum sucks [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e] .
I definately aggree that games need to get with the times and start tailoring toward the x64 platform. Online polls are showing that more people go Vista x64 than x86 nowdays.

Yes, I created a profile. So I'm pretty sure it's an issue with Vista x64, cuz I was able to get it to work on XP with the same computer. I'm still trying new things to get it to work. Anyone running Vista x64 get it to work?
I have the exact same problem. I posted it earlier. I'm running it on Vista x64, which I think is the problem cuz I was ablel to get it to run on XP on same computer. So the question is... are you running on Vista x64, too?
Well, I decided to pre-order the game today. I downloaded the beta and ran it without any trouble. The problem is that when I try to host a LAN game, after choosing a name and port for it, it comes up with a windows saying: "Trying to connect..." And it indefinately stays there. I've tried both using the "Auto Port" function and specifying a port. I've also turned off the Windows Firewall. Still no progress. Anyone else have t
