Well, I was able to eventually navigate to the LAN Host Creation screen after doing countless alt+tab's; but I wasn't able to get the game to launch. Everytime I alt+tab the menu progresses, but I can't really navigate that well since I have no clue how things are supposed to look.
I created a post with the same issue, but I figured I'd get rid of it and just post my info on here to make it easier. Basically, the movie loads fine and looks great, but once I either click to skip it or wait for it to finish the last frame that was on screen will sit there for a few seconds and the menu will load with different options overlaying themselves. I keep getting the fatal error when the game transits from the intro movie to the main menu. The movie looks great and when it ends i get this fatal error right before the main menu pops up telling me "You must create at least one profile." When I move the mouse around, I can hear sounds that I'm assuming come from mousing-over options, but the main menu is visually non-responsive.
