Two further ideas: Scrap Terror Stars. Honestly, does anyone use them in any games other than the campaigns? I'd like to see a change to planetary invasions. I've never liked the fact that in GC2 the entire population of a planet has to be eliminated before it is captured. A possible solution to this would be to differentiate troops from general population. The number of troops on each planet would be determined by such things as population, a global "recruitment/conscription" setting, improvements and so-on. I cannot start a "Battle of the Gods" scenario game in ToA. I have the latest version running windowed under Vista. I can play non-scenario games fine, but when I try to start this scenario I get as far as the race customization screen and press "Next" and the game crashes with the following error: Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: GC2TwilightOfTheArnor.exe Application Version: 2.0.0.0

Back to the original topic of the thread: one thing that might be interesting is that planetary invasions occur over a longer period of time, i.e. several game weeks. I know realism is not one of the game's aims, but it does seem a bit weird that these battles are virtually instantaneous. Having invasions last several weeks would increase the complexity of the game but would make a conquest victory more challenging, especially if it meant that both attacker and defender could send in reinforc
