" I still think this game can be very successful. It's been out for a year? But a few more fixes have to come at some point! " Yea, seems like I got it right when it came out some time around May 2009. So that would make it considerably more than a year old...

Yea i remember multiplayer being a bitch to get going right out of the gate... and I do remember the horrible reviews for that specific reason. It's a shame that good games can get junkpiled for stuff like that. Oh well... that's how it goes in a world where there's a new top shelf game coming out almost every day...
When i first bought this game ~ a year ago, I was very impressed with the concepts and the fast paced, fun gameplay. However it seemed that a relitively low number of people were playing, and I was constantly frustrated with multiplayer issues and difficulty establishing games. Now that I've decided to try it again, there are considerably fewer people playing. Did something happen to cause this game to 'go down the tubes'? It really looked like it should / would be suc

I find that this tends to happen after someone leaves the game. Typically you get a popup every 5 seconds after until the end of the game, which makes it EXTREMELY annoying. This game has pulled me closer than any other to punching a hole through my monitor...
hey guys, anyone tried to boot people from a match in the Pantheon and had the app crash yet? Just started happening for me consistently on multiple PCs. If you find that it's happening to you, please respond to my post in the 'problems' forum so we can get some feedback quickly. Thanks!
Looking forward to the day when this thing works right. It's a good game. I hope this whole situation won't turn too many people off.
Here is the entire text of the massive demigod log, in case it helps. Sorry about the size, but it is huge: [mod edit] pastebin link

After this evening's patch, my program is consistently crashing (for the first time since I bought it) every time I eject a user from the setup dialogue in the Pantheon. Steps to replicate: access app, log into multiplayer account access pantheon, choose demigod, click 'fight' wait until a game connection is activated and click the 'connection info' box in the lower right *NOTE* obviously you will only be able to eject a player if you are hosting

Just wanted to throw out a good word to the developers. Over the last few days / mini updates, I've seen my multiplayer game connection time decrease from 10+ minutes to less than 2 minutes. Keep up the good work!

[quote who="alban987" reply="24" id="2202232"] First of all, the site looks like crap. There was no message the first time I logged in What do you mean? When you log in the login prompt goes away and the menu items slightly change accordingly. As far as some of the stuff looking unfinished... well that's because it is.... Was there a welcome message in the middle of the page the first time
Also, how the hell is everyone supposed to know where your banlist is, or that it even exists? I'm willing to bet that the majority of current DG players haven't even logged onto the forums yet. Are you going to make a new post every five minutes that says 'HEY, COME LOOK AT MY BAN LIST'? Seriously, if only a few people know about it then it's practically worthless. Aside from that, those who don't know about it will have no idea that / why they're getting bo

You like the word 'theorycraft'?
And yet I'm gonna say it anyway...
I love Demigod. I've played through about 10 single player tournaments since I bought the game this weekend. The graphics are incredible. The balance is well tuned. The gameplay is challenging. And most important of all, ITS FUN! That being said, the multiplayer facilities are embarrasing. I haven't encountered a game that has been this buggy in that area since the rollout of SWG in 2003. Multiplayer capacity is ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL for a
