The real answer here is diminishing returns. Each successive stun on a target stunned in the last X seconds lasts for a decreasing amount of time. So if you stun a guy for 3 seconds, then stun him again in the next.. let's say 10 seconds.. that stun will only last 2 seconds, then 1 second, then a half second. I have no clue how long the diminishing return bubble should be - 10-15 seconds seems reasonable to me. I also don't know what t

3. Game options are always a good idea, just make sure that the defaults are the usually played and expected options. Your current game browser is really lacking and I would hate to join a game just to find out every option is tweaked and that I have to go find something else. 8. Yes please. 10 & 11 & 12. I'd rather see more work done on the Generals, than their minions, but these are some steps in the right direction, especially the HP increase and MS incr
I usually have all my stuff needed, 2 items from store, 3 from artifact within 30-40 minutes. Fast for my matches anyways. Keep up the Citidel work.
I think that's perfect - 2 hour long games are stupid. 30-45 minutes should be the taget game length as far as I'm concerned.
Oak is fairly well done, and an awesome defensive character. It seems to me like the Vampire Lord is a little below average in power, though.
I agree completely here. Oak is, with Last Stand, way too good. I played Erebus three times and I came off with the feeling that he's just not up to par. His AE stun is nice, but aside from that he's just not very fun or powerful. I think Genrals wil
Last stand is a cool idea, but I think there need to be 2 changes: 1) Oak does no or very low damage to buildings (I managed to do reduce citadel to about 30% hp while being in last stand (with a few seconds alive before) in the late game. Now Imagine a team with 2 or 3 oaks, they will just destroy your citadel without being able to do anything against it. 2) he shouldn't be able to capture flags in this mode.
<p

I know it's early, but this is just some first impressions. 1) You should never reward a player for dying. This does just that. You get 10 seconds of increased damage, move speed, and attack speed. You're invulnerable. 2) You should not punish a player for killing another player so harshly. Killing Oak is almost pointless. He's going to get back up and either chase you about for 10 seconds, keeping you from doing anything or he's go

Isn't that what we have here basically? Unless you have some major web-coding skills, making a website to be used by thousands of people is a pretty big undertaking. I'm all down for a fansite to congregate players, but that's more than I think any of us are ready to do during a beta.
Quoting kithoo, reply 18 As for you talking about intellectual inbreeding - that's just fallacy. There's a reason that people who post guides, post a lot, and present cogent opinions get to be "forum kings". People who spend more time studying a game are just going to be better at it. People who spend more time playing a game are going to be better at it, people who collect and compile information outside of the game

This game is DotA. It has the same setup, a similar control scheme, everything.&nbsp

I'd prefer option 2. Stardock has an amazing track record of supporting their games. Giving PLAYERS A hero editor is just stupid. Everyone is going to make overly powerful heroes that will never be used in actual online play. Do you really think players will introduce less balance issues? I don't mind a map editor - as I said I don't really think maps are ever going to mean a damn in this game, but a hero/unit/item editor is just ridiculous and f

Depending on the number of maps released this game doesn't really need user created content. Much like DotA, there's no need for much innovation in map design - the real innovation is going to have to come in updating the way players interact on a more basic play level. The map in DotA is AGES old - with minor balance tweaks here and there - but people still play the same 3 lanes, with 2 jungles, and 1 river. I think what Demigod is going to need is new hero

I am a member of the "DotA Community" that people have come to malign. In fact, it's not the "DotA Community" that you hate, but the Pub Stars who come in, make thousands of posts, have relatively little game experience, and talk like the own the joint. I'm quite the opposite. I play DotA regularly, on one of the upper levels of competitive play - just short of traveling anywhere to play in a LAN Tournament - and you'd never know it by the way I present myse
