I tried both BootSkin 1.02 & BootSkin 1.03, and neither of them worked... still get the blue screen and forced to start in safe mode, then uninstall bootskin, and then reboot back to normal. You also dont have to go into the windows folder etc. like was explained above, if you 'uninstall' it automaticly removes that file along with everything else... sucks.... I really wanted a boot screen :(

Guys I have a new computer, XP PRO installed, latest SP3 updated, and this is the first program I downloaded for my computer.... When I rebooted, I got the blue screen, and then my computer would not start. The only way to get it to start was to go to 'safe mode' and uninstall bootshit. I would really like to customize my bootscreen, does anyone know why this is happening or what works? Is there a better program out there?
